Any Camcorder tips?

This coming October we will be on our honeymoon and bringing a camcorder with us....any tips on ettiquette? I really try to be respectful of others.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has brought them on the water rides with them - what kind of protective covering for the camera do you use?

Anyway, just a couple tips. I have taken our camcorder a few times. Never would I try it on a water ride. Don't try to record everything. You will miss too much of your trip itself. The first year, I taped everything. I taped every fireworks display, bus ride, monorail ride, boat ride. I was going to capture everything and relive it forever. When I got home, I realized how much I had actually missed being behind the camera, and no one in the family wanted to watch them with me. Now I almost use it as a still camera, taking a few seconds of video here and there. Hope this helps a little bit....
