Hi! We are staying at the BWV in November and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a specific area of rooms. I am looking for a studio with a fireworks view, if possible. Can you see them from the section 'crest o' waves?' If so, what room blocks are they in? Thanks!!:thumbsup2

To see Epcot firework's (and you will only see those that reach high levels), you need to have either a boardwalk view or a high floor standard view. If you have preferred view, pool or garden, you will be facing away from Epcot. As to Boardwalk view being down under Crest o' Wave is good. Poster above noted room 4005. All boardwalk rooms per floor have lowest numbers at the end of the Crest o' Wave section and then as you run back up the boardwalk towards the lobby/elevator, the numbers increase. In other words, 05 on any floor is close to the end and work back from there 09, 11, 13 etc.

Thanks!!! I can't wait!

I'm not sure you saw Debbie's question asking what your reservation says about room view. It should state either Standard View, Preferred View - Boardwalk or Preferred View - Pool & Garden.

If your reservation doesn't say Preferred View - Boardwalk you won't have the views or rooms that have been discussed. If you have Preferred View - Pool & Garden you won't have any view of EPCOT fireworks.

There are preferred rooms, overlooking the Village Green, that have very nice fireworks views. I've actually had the same studio twice now...believe it or not! It was about 2 doors from the elevators, over Muscles and Bustles...top floor. I was able to watch IllumiNations high fireworks as well as MK's 'Wishes' off in the distance. And it had a nice view of the boardwalk as well..not right over it but nice nontheless.

There are, however, very few of those rooms and they are occationally booked as Boardwalk View (I suspect that at BWV there are a number of rooms that they book either or).

We were close to there on the Boardwalk, and although you can see high fireworks, I'd be disappointed believing those rooms to have a "fireworks view." Most of Illuminations happens near the lake, so have realistic expectations on what "fireworks view" means. The best fireworks views at BWV are blocked by the buildings and hill. (The Wishes view is arguably better, but at a few miles away, horizon fireworks).

I'd have realistic expectations on getting any requests granted at BW - we've always requested "high floor" and always ended up as low as you can get (which worked out great, close to the pool).

We just came back from a studio at BWV requested 1st floor/ pool view. We received one of those rooms overlooking the courtyard above Wyland Gallery (much better than what I requested). But it is true, we have never had a request met at BWV other than non-smoking.
