We're heading to Knoebel's tomorrow. DH probably won't go on any rides with DD3. We bought $20 in discount tickets from DH's work. I think that should be enough for us, right? How do I stay very budget friendly in the park?
I would consider packing a lunch. There are plenty of picnic pavillions and I'm sure on a Monday there would be many open tables. (Usually on the weekends they are reserved for company picnics, reunions, etc).
The food at the parks is YUMMY and really not that expensive- Although if you were really trying to be cheap you could easily pack a lunch. There are TONS of tables around. And even on the weekends there are usually a couple open.
But we love the food so much here that I never pack a lunch.
Tomorrow is a Pay one price day - so if your daughter is under 48 inches and doesn't ride coasters- she can get a ride all day pass for $19.
The tickets never expire. So you could save your tickets for next year. Or you could use them for whatever rides you and dh want to go on while your daughter rides whatever she wants.
She will be able to do the funniest ride- they have these little go karts- not on a track- you just drive them. My boys LOVE them and one cried when he got too tall to ride. They are for little kids. (Over near the Phoenix I think near the other cars that you can drive)
Have a great time. I love this park. BUY THE FUDGE!!!
