Hi All,

Has anyone done a Disney Cruise yet? I've been on US DIS site but i would like a "Brits View" pirate:

We're staying in a cat 5 stateroom on board Disney Magic.

Thanx,
Luv Audrey,
xxxxxxxxxx

Well you won't be disappointed at all Audrey. We had the best time on our cruise. I was sure I did a trip reort I'll look for it and post the link.

We stayed Cat 5 last time and having the Verandah was the best. I don't know if you've cruised before but Paul had cruised a lot before we hooked up and he says the cabins are so much bigger than other cruises he's been on.

The food is divine and the service is exellent.

Are you doing the Eastern or the Western and when are you going ?

Mandy and I had part of our honeymoon on the same cruise as Kevin.

It was amazing!!!!

Chocolate Souffle at Palo, is to die for!!:Pinkbounc

We have and fell in love with cruising. There were four of us (including 2 teenagers) in a cat 3 cabin, we all had a great time. Would definately recommend having a verandah, it was perfect for early morning coffee and a view of the ocean.

I don't know if you are travelling with children but the childrens clubs are brilliant. I cannot recommend the teenage "common grounds" enough, it kept my 16 year old entertained for the whole week and he met new friends to hang out with. Not bad for someone who isn't usually that forthcoming with strangers.

Thanx for the info Sam,

We're doing the western cruise, and no, we've never dona a cruise before, Soooo excited!!!!:Pinkbounc .We're going on the 3rd April.

Ta Muchly Nick,

Our 12 year old DD will be with us so she'll qualify for the Oceaneers Lab, I'm a bit worried how She'll get on going without a friend but i'm sure she'll soon make friends, although she can be very shy around new people.

Chunkster, That pud looks DELISH!!. Oh well, bang goes another diet, (think i'll stop dieting, i swear to god dieting makes you fat! he he!)

Thanx,
Luv Audrey,

I am sure somebody could post a link to a picture of the chocolate Souffle.

:D hi audrey were going on the western magic cruise on 31st of jan, it will be our third disney cruise. you are going to have a great experience. our ds 12 and dd 8 had a great time in the kids clubs.:wave2:

Hi there Shingle:wave:

Thanx for that, can you tell me if it's VERY dressy? I know the formal nights are but what do you wear on semi formal and what about the rest of the evenings and day time? Mebbe i should have started another thread for this.

Luv Audrey,
xxxxxxxxxx:crazy:

We are going on our 4th Magic cruise in August. We love them. Yes the formal nights are dressy but the other nights I would say are more casual but we still wear "nice" clothes.
If you haven't booked already I can recommend Transolar holidays - they even include the tips. However with the dollar being so good booking with dreams would also be good.
Wendy

Audrey, you dont have to worry too much about loking too formal if you dont wish too. We dressed up a lot as it was our honeymoon :) but there were lots of other people in very casual clothes...everything from evening wear to shorts (which didnt look right to my eyes!);)

A nice pair of trousers and a few good tops will take you a long way I think!;)

Have a lovely time...Im very jealous!

:Pinkbounc Thanx Wendy and Angel:Pinkbounc

We're already booked with Virgin but thanx for the tip i'm sure we'll give it a try at a later date.;)

Thanx for the info on dress standards as well, DH is wearing his kilt on the formal night (but with braveheart shirt and waistcoat instead of the full jacket as it would be too hot) and i have my formal outfit (or at least 3 or 4 or 5 options, i can't decide!)

Not too long now, getting excited already!

Luv Audrey,

Audrey
Your husband's kilt will go down very well!
Where in Aberdeenshire are you - we live in Aberdeen?
PM me if you want to give me a call to ask any questions - I love to talk disney!!!
Wendy

Yup! Done two 4 day Wonders and then for New Year I did the 7 day Eastern on the Magic - and I love every moment - I would recommend them for anyone...wait, make that everyone! :) I think I am well on the way to becoming an cruise addict ;)

Anyhow, I do have some Palo dessert photo's from my last trip - unfortunately the Souffle picture isn't the best (the chocolate and vanilla sauce had already been poured in the middle and I think I'd actually had a little bite too before it occured to me to take a (slightly out of focus) pic  ) anyhow, it gives you an idea :)

Our server also brought out a Tiramasu and Cassata for us to all try (all were delish!) so I've included pictures of those too for us to all have a communal drool over...
