Any bounce back offers appear in the rooms yet?

For the bouncebacks that are left in the rooms, are they usually for the current year or will they be for stays in 2012 also? I will be at CSR for a few days in April and would love to get a bounceback that I can apply to a longer stay in April of 2012. Just wondering if the bouncebacks are only to entice people to return again in the same calender year or if they extend beyond Dec. 2011? I have noticed them in the room in the past, but we weren't planning a package stay at the time so I didn't pay close attention.

In the previous years when WDW had the Bounceback offer it was for the current year. So let's say they were brought back this April then the dates on it would only be for 2011. However in December 2009 we got a Bounceback offer sheet at the Contemporary which had dates for 2010 listed on it, although my guess those were the new set of dates they used at that time.

We were at WDW in September 2010. There was a bounceback offer that expired in August. After that all the flyers in the room were the same as the general public. There have not been reports of any bounceback offers since last August. I was told by a CM (true or not?) that they were going to get rid of bounceback offers.

In August 2010 we were did a split stay between the Contemporary and Boardwalk Inn and at both locations our rooms had the the Bounceback offer you spoke of, even though others reported about getting the offer Free Dining which was not a Bounceback deal. Anway I remember on the Bounceback offer that it's last possible date was on December 23, 2010 so technically it was still good when you were there since that's what was in your room. Now for us I remember there was one day at the Contemporary when our Housekeeper was told to take the Bounceback offer sheets out of all the rooms because their managers told them to and said the offer was ending. She had the one from our room and others on her cart. Well I said to her I am taking it back because it doesn't expire until we check-out. Anyway later that day we then made our December 2010 reservation with the Bounceback rate and we were able to change it a few days later, so the offer wasn't ending that specifc day or anytime soon. Plus if that offer was ending at that time as the Housekeeper said how come we still got it at the Boardwalk Inn?

I believe the bounceback offers have been discontinued for a few reasons. Disney seems to want to lure new customers by offering them discounts rather than repeat customers. This seems to be in evidence with the lack of AP discounts we have seen lately. Perhaps they believe loyal clients will continue to come to Disney without discounts. We enjoyed being able to book our next stay with the bounceback and if the AP offer was better we could change it.

At any rate, I am sure we will continue to go but without the AP discounts we will be utilizing more offsite lux. hotels. We can stay at the Ritz CL or Waldorf for the same price as GF RPC and the service level there is much higher. When the Four Seasons opens this will offer another choice for our family. We would continue to stay onsite with the discounts for the convenience and Disney atmosphere but without it just does not seem to be an intelligent decision.

Hoping...hoping...
I stayed ASMo for Disney's Princess Half-Marathon last week and had a bounce back offer in my room.

Since it was from a value resort, the offer was only for values and mods. 35% off rooms for many dates, including during MNSSHP, Epcot F&W, and MVMCP.

No mention of dining discounts.

I did a split stay end of Feb- March and there was a 35% bounce back in my room at all star sports and there was also one in my room at cbr...I also received 2 emails with the same bounce back offer while I was there!!! It was for the year 2011..

Just returned Monday from POFQ.
The bounceback was 40% Villas, 40% Deluxe, 35% Moderate
For most stays:
2/27/11-3/5/11, 5/8/11-5/27/11, 5/31/11-6/4/11, 8/21/11-10/8/11, 10/23/11-10/29/11, 11/13/11-11/19/11, 11/27/11-12/3/11, 12/11/11-12/17/11. Code KZ2.

I just recently stayed at the All Star Music (end of Feb). There was not an offer or anything in the room but I did call a particular number from the room and they let me book a trip using the discount. For us it was 40% off at Poly and it had to be in '11 (we are going in Nov). I believe the number was 8844 but not sure. I did get the number from another poster here on the DIS in a bounceback thread not too long ago. Anyhoo...not sure of the blackout dates since we were only interested in the Nov range and I know for Nov it was the 13-19th. We are going 15-22nd so there were 2 days that we could not apply the discount. All in all, it did save us over 900$ though so that's super cool:thumbsup2

Hoping...hoping...

We had one at CSR (Feb 23-25) to that had to be booked before check out. Ours was the same as the pp's.

If it's anything like last year (or the year before), I now have a PIN in the system with the offer, and it will be good until the end of the year.

I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the dates and info-we go next week and this gives a jump an the planning!

We were at the Poly last week and there was a 40% off BB on the room. I took a pic of it but its on my home computer.
