Any new Blue Bayou party dinner reviews? Not sure I will keep mine for 5 pm on Oct. 26th.

While there might some slight variations, it's the full BB menu with a few Halloween items added. The price of the special dinner package is similar to ordering a higher priced dinner item and dessert, although I would generally be too full to have dessert at BB. A bag of candy (same items found on treat trails) and a lighted lanyard are also included in the package. The viewing location on Main Street is nice, but similar locations could easily be found for free (at the Wednesday party I attended).

If you want to dine at BB and can spare an hour of "party" time, it's a decent value.

We went last Friday. The above review is pretty in point, except when all was said and done it ate about 2 hours of our party time. The food was pretty good, but it felt like a pretty heavy dinner for running around the park. We did, however, get so much candy that we didn't need to hit the treat trails.

We had reservations but cancelled due to not wanting to eat up party time. When we went it was not necessary to have reserved seats for the parade. We got a great spot along the curb about 30 minutes before. Our party was on a Friday night.

We also canceled because we ere afraid ti would eat up party time. We had special dietary need in our party which I started reading around the boards can make TS meals take a bit longer (glutenfree, dairy free, nut free soy free) we had the best reservation time (4:10) but since we were also celebrating my birthday at BB with a special cake I started thinking it would take even longer also I started thinking that I was spending a good chunk of change on my birthday cake for it to get smashed in our stroller after dinner. So we went with a lunch ADR and we were very happy with it. Lunch did take over an hour so I am sure that the MHP dinner would have taken as long or longer. We also still got curb side seating but we had to grab out spot at 7:20.

Be aware that even with the dining package they suggest you get to your viewing spot at 7:45 (8:15 Headless Horseman) . this meant we lost 25 more minutes of party time than the dining package folks but it worked out well for us.
