Any Birmingham,Al Moms?

I am looking for any other moms in Birmingham. I just found out last night I am expecting baby #3(disney world souive) and I need to find a good OB. I did not have good luck with the last one.

I would love for anyone to tell me about thier OB near Birmingham.

Hi! I live in Birmingham and have grown up here. I really like my OB, he is located at Brookwood Hospital. I can PM you his info if you want me to.

Thanks that would be great. I had the first 2 at Brookwood. The Dr for #1 retired and #2 Dr I would not go to again. Please PM the info.

hi i'm not in birmingham, but i go to a FABULOUS ob/gyn in birmingham at st. vincent's hospital. his name is Dr. Dan Hudson and his office is in the Henderson & Walton group. the man has saved my life TWICE and my DD's life at birth. i wouldn't trust my health to anyone else (oh, and he's cute too, hehe). he's been by doctor for about 13 years.

I lived in Birmingham area and we, both of my daughter's and I use Sharp, Stone and Goolsby group at St.Vincent's. Both daughters delivered there last year, their sons were born 12 days apart. Great experience, great doctors.

We live in Sylacauga and have 11 year old twins. Dr. Elizabeth Barron delivered them at Brookwood Hospital. I still use her and would never use anyone else.

Didn't Dr. Barron stop taking ob patients or was that Dr. Kennedy?

My kids were both born at Brookwood and I love the hospital. I changed doctors after my oldest was born. Now, I see Dr. Greg Banks there and I LOVE him. The delivery of my son was so great and wonderful in comparison to my daughters. He is a great doctor and I highly recommend him.

Good luck with your decision. Trusting your doctor is so important.

Congrats!! I also use Dr. Greg Banks at Brookwood...he delivered both of my DDs. He is wonderful!!

Dr. Barron delivered my daughter in 1997. I love her to death and would tell anyone how wonderful she is, she doesn't take my insurance last time or this time around.

I have thought about swapping to ST. Vincents and had heard great things about Dr. Hudson.

I live in Alexander City and I also use Henderson & Walton. Dr. Frank Page delivered my first two children and I really liked him, but he is no longer delivering babies. Anyway, I have heard some really great things about Dr. Hudson. I have been seeing Dr. Jones and I like her too. I think any in that group would be fine, they are all very good. The Women's center there is so nice too.
