Any big Labor Day weekend plans?

What are you doing for Labor Day weekend? I'll be living vicariously through all of you.

DH & I have to go up to the cottage (on Lake Michigan) and visit my mom. My older sister will be there as well as my aunt & uncle from California. My mom and aunt bicker continuously. My sister and my mom are giving me constant advice about a problem I'm having with dd. It's much easier to take it with a grain of salt when it's on the telephone and I can just hustle them off. Now I get two fun-filled days with them and the relatives. Woo hoo.

Oh, well, at least dh and I can escape to the beach if it gets too bad. And I've insisted on coming home Sunday.

Friday is our 10th anniversary....sounds great right???? No plans. We will be busy saving up money to do something really nice during our Disney trip in Nov. We are putting together a big yard sale.....great anniversary celebration.

We were suppose to go to Crystal River and spend the weekend there boating, but Frances has put those plans in doubt. We'll make a final decision tonight, based on where the hurricane is still tracking, but it doesn't look good.

We are thinking about going to West Fest. Kevin Fowler is playing at the preview party tomorrow night.

Well, tomorrow we have a 1/2 day at work. The last one of the summer. (Publishing industry does 1/2 day Fridays in the summer).

We'll have a quiet night, might get some yard work done. Then Saturday we're staying in. But Sunday we are going up to my BF's brother's lake house in Laconia, NH. We're taking Monty and he'll get to play with all the neices and nephews. Should be fun.

Sunday we might head over to a friends BBQ.

Well, we were going to Va Beach for the Music Festival and to eat at Duck-In, but Frances took care of that. Heck, we would probably even have trouble getting there w/ all the mess from Gaston.

Now are big plans are to maybe hit our high school football game Friday and see Princess Diary 2 on Saturday and just rest up. I think we can all use that!

Yes, I have big plans. Looks like my date and I will do some bike riding on Sat. He's been calling me every night. He's one of those people that loves to talk on the phone. It sure is going really well so far. I'm still kind of in a euphoric state of shock!

Well I have work Saturday night and Sunday morning, so no big plans for me. I'm not looking forward to it, because it's probably gonna be crazy at work. It was crazy 4th of July weekend when I thought people would have better things to do then visit Barnes and Noble, but I was wrong. So it looks like I'll be looking forward to making loads of frappuccinos over the holiday weekend.

We're not going anywhere, but we are preparing for the first LSU game! Yay! I think my DH and friends plan on getting to the campus around 8am to start tailgating since Game Day will be there...some may even go earlier! Should be a fun weekend...and it'll be nice to have two days to recover from the game!

I have to worked the whole Labor day weekend at the baseball park. On 9-6 going to a concert after work.

Going to the first regular season football game of the year on Saturday. Spending the rest of the weekend doing the summer reading I haven't finished yet that we have tests on early next week.

It's supposed to be gorgeous out this weekend and I am hoping to get a chance to fly over to Nantucket for the day Sunday to visit my brother and meet the girlfriend.

However, it looks like DH is going to be "forced" to work some OT and we still don't have a garage roof.

I'll probably spend the weekend packing & getting ready to leave for FL on Friday!
