Kelsie has gotten us a few quotes before when DH was undecided if we should wait, turned out he wanted to wait for this one or the WBTA. I will email her one more time to also get quote on WBTA as well as EBPC.

Yep, I expect the price will shock us all again! The xmas one has it AND a Star Wars Day at sea as well. Since I don't want to go to Jamaica, I may book it. Gotta hear the price first...

It won't be for the faint of heart. It is a really neat itinerary with Castaway at the beginning and again at the end though!

The only cruise of interest to me is the September Transatlantic - even though I prefer longer ones. The Galveston ending of the Panama Canal cruise made that one a definite no.

The dates on the galveston cruises are all bad for us. Dec 15 and then 22? 15 still in school. 22 over christmas. No go on both. And the fantasy is just out because it will be a rip off over christmas.

In the past - those cruises have included a WDW park hopper, so you are definitely paying for it in your cruise price.

Hello all!

Really excited for the booking to start on Thursday! This will be my first time, and I'm hoping to book 2 staterooms on the Wonder out of Galveston in December 2017. Since I'm new to this, I don't have a travel agent. Would it be wise for me to reach out to one now, and have them work the booking on Thursday? Or should I just book it myself? I've seen you get some onboard credit by booking through a travel agent, but it sounds exhausting going back and forth through a third party to get the trip booked, when I could just click the rooms I want and pay the deposit through the Disney site.

What strategy do you all use?

I just finished reading a book called The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. It's about decluttering one's home, and the way to decide what stays and what goes is to ask yourself - Does this item "spark joy"? I just wrote that question next to the itinerary of the September 2017 Transatlantic cruise, and my answer was "no"! I will save my cruise dollars for itineraries that really interest me.
