any beaches close to KSC????

Hello, now that I found out info on Kennedy from all you great people, is there a beach close by to Kennedy??? never been to Florida, and two things my hubby wanted to do was beach and KSC. Can I do both in a day?????? if close by. Thanks for any help. Also if anyone knows how far away Kennedy Space Center is from WDW. We are not renting a car, so will have to have a towncar service drive us and pick us up. Thanks for any help.

Cocoa Beach is very very close to KSC. Daytona is a bit further away.
