We are staying in a 2br BCV in October and was wondering if anyone had feedback from their recent stay. We always have stayed at in a 2 br at OKW (2 years DVC owner). Any feedback(good or bad!) is appreciated. Specifically have they done away with the kitchen table that exist at OKW and is the kitchen area smaller? Overall I I know it is smaller that OKW but does it "feel" smaller.

P.S Any way to know which unit will be redone (by Oct 1) for the 2nd queen bed in the 2br instead of the pull out.

We stayed in a 2br BCV on 8/3-8/12. We absolutely loved our villa. It was facing the "quiet" pool and had a balcony that ran the whole length of the villa, one end even bumping out quite a bit. The second bedroom was especially nice as it was bigger because the building angled at that point. I would request Villa 254. It was not too far from the elevators, although we are used to the trek we walked at BWV.

We just got back from our first trip home at BCV, Aug 14th-20th. Our dedicated 2br was also a second floor unit facing Dunes Cove, at the "bend" in the building. We were in room 234, I would assume a mirror image of room 254. As DVCSuzyQ indicated, the second bedroom was huge, as it was situated at the "elbow" and next to a utility room. The balcony from the second bedroom was deeper due to the fact that it is part of the "turret" projection of the building. I don't know how the room compares to OKW, as I have never stayed there, but this room was wonderful. There was plenty of room for our party of four adults and two children. It was convinient to both the main elevator and accessory elevator, as well as the stairwell near the parking area. The kitchen could only accomodate two people while cooking or doing dishes, IMO. The dining table has a fixed bench for three to sit, and "bar" seating for two along the kitchen sink wall. We took the desk chair from the master bedroom on the few occasions that all six of us sat down at the same time to eat. The weather was, of course, hot and humid and the lines were manageable. All in all it was a perfect trip!
