Okay so no :rotfl: but i think my DD10 might enjoy it if they will just do a trim or something off the bottom of her hair but will the MK barbers do any magic for a girl like they would a boy??? If anybody has any experiences or prices we would be much obliged, thanks!

Yes! They'll do pixie dust, colored gel and Mickey's, DD9 loves it! Let me find a picture of her hair the last time and I'll post.

Well, crud. You really can't tell much from this pic but it was pulled back, full of pixie dust. She had Mickey heads painted on both sides with different colored gel "fireworks" around them. Super cute!

Last Dec. my DDs both had their hair cut for Locks of Love at the Barbershop, and they got the pixie dust.

a haircut is around $14. the color & confetti is around $7 (but it's free with a haircut). they will pull their hair up into a ponytail and paint on whatever colors they choose. my girls just got stripes of color (no mickey shapes) and they stuck little cinderella castles and pumpkin carriages onto the stripes. my girls loved this and got compliments all day.

We did the 1st haircut for our DD age 2. Very nice memory-she got mickey ears and a certificate.

Ok... Silly question, but I can't remember *where* the barbershop is any more. I don't see it listed on the map of the MK on AllEars. Where is the barbershop?

Can you just have a trim instead of a full haircut? My daughter is always asking to have her split ends cut off the very smallest amount possible, but never wants a "full" haircut....we love her long long hair. But this looks like loads of fun, so if they could simply clean up her ends and decorate her hair, that'd be very cool. I'm sure that I could arrange us to be "too busy" to get it done before we leave home.

Yes-they will cut it however you like-same price though. Get there early

i believe it's open 9-5. it's on the left hand side when you enter the park (i'm pretty sure). it's tiny, but not hard to find. there were a few people in line ahead of us, but we did not wait long.

my DD4 wanted to get her first haircut at disney, but she really just got about an inch of the straggly ends trimmed. the lady said that was the least haircut she'd ever done and it didnt look like she did anything at all (DD's hair is to her lower back), but it worked for us. she got the experience of having her first cut at disney and we got the pictures and memories :goodvibes

So I guess that means no reservations can made for this place-just walk ins?
I had some questions on bbb but alot of people are talking about this barbershop. May have to try this out!:goodvibes

I agree that you should get there right when they open!:thumbsup2
My daughter had her first haircut there, it is very small and there were only 2 stylists working. It was one of the most special things we've ever done at WDW.

All3 of my girls had their first haircuts there - it is fun - we go there every trip but an entirely different experience from the BBB.

I'm so glad I've heard about this. We will definetley try to do this! My girls would love it! We have breakfast @ the castle one morning and this would be perfect for after! If anyone else has pictures I would love to see them!

We were going to get my DD 1st haircut last year but ran out of time so she has been waiting a whole year (reason to go back to Disney) She just turned 3.

Does anyone know if the haircuts are strictly for kids or will they do them for older Disney fans? I'll be 27 the next time I go to WDW, the styling sounds and looks really cool and I'd like to know if it's something I'd be able to do.

Last time I was there, there was an adult getting a trim!:thumbsup2
