I had to write and say I have not heard anymore news. They said they would call me today after that got all her paperwork from the main branch.
For some of your comments about accusing the teller of stealing. All I have said was that I gave her $475 and all that was deposited in my account was $375. I stated that all my money was not deposit into my account. I worked for 12 years in financing. I was a cashier and I also worked in the back. I know how money can be missed and I also know how money can be stolen. It was a high stress job so I left for another field of work.
I have been with this credit union for over 25 years and have never had a problem, so this shocked me. We have been trying to push to get deposit slip and so far it has not happen. I want to Thank for all for your support and I will let you know how it turns out. I have learned a lesson that I will not go to the bank when I am distracted by all I have to get done.
Thanks,
garydeb

. I know it is very stressful. Wishing you the best. I am sure you probally did this, but did you double check where you put the money together, your clothes, your car, and any stops you might have made? I really hope it turns up.
I'm sure the cashier will be more careful in counting and/or typing in the proper amounts if it was simply a typo, and a few of us learned a valuable lesson too. I, too usually just put the deposit slip in my bag. But if the cashier types in the wrong amount or adds a different total than what I have, I need to know about it right away!
