Any Aussies going to the D23 Expo?

I'm going to the D23 Expo in August. At the last Expo in 2009 I ran into a few Aussies. Just wondering if anyone here is going?

I know your post is from a few years ago, but I am looking at getting some people together to go to the 2015 D23 Expo.
If your keen, please join our Facebook group to talk about ideas and maybe get to planning something with a group of like minded people - the group is called Aussies.at.D23.2015 (for some reason i'm not allowed to post a link, I think its as i'm new to Disboards)

I would love to go. The early bird D23 prices are well priced, but then once I take into account at least 2 adult airfares, accommodation, etc!

Is it worth the visit? I'm keen as to get to the DL 60th birthday celebration in July, but can't really stick around SoCal for a month.

Ah well, this might just be wishful thinking but I doubt the husband will want to go to America twice in 2 years, especially with two mortgages...

I'd love to go - D23 Expos are a lot of fun, but we have other plans for 2015. It's not the best place for little kids (ours will be 4 and 2), as there is lots of waiting in line to see presentations.
