Any attractions you haven't done at U/S or IOA?

the only ride i do not do is the pluto water round rafty thingies.

i just hate walking around the park in wet undies and squeaky shoes.

What about the Sinbad show? Is that worth catching?

I think it's worthwhile. Especially when you're getting tired and it's super hot outside...nice to sit down and get out of the sun while being entertained for a little awhile. Have fun! :goodvibes

 you DON'T do Popeye's ride? :(

Get some shoes you don't mind getting wet (and are comfy) and wear boardshorts instead of shorts..they dry in like 15 minutes :thumbsup2

I hate to see ya miss out on such a good ride because of that! :(

We didn't do the Horror Make Up Show or the Sinbad show. I think those are pretty much the only things that we wanted to do & missed.

I've never seen the Barney show. I'm too old for it!

you are never to old to go see the big purple boy darkie........
too bad you are already taken.
i hear it is a hot spot for finding chicks.

chicks man..........

i did the sinbad show 2 years back for the first time.
it was never a show i wanted to schedule around my time.

when i did go, i really enjoyed it.
the stunts were different and very enjoyable.

one of the tm's told me where to sit to get in on the better part of the action of the show. i did and he was right on target!

the story line is fine and easy to follow.
you can predict what will happen as the good guys always win.

oh snap, now i gave away the secret.....

i'll be hitting sinbad again this year.
it is one of those shows that is nice to repeat every other year.
horror make up show on the other hand changes based on the participants in the show.

i enjoy sinbad, he's hot:thumbsup2

stadium rather cool on muggy day & a nice break off my feet;)

makeup show while interesting not on my must-do list, if we can hit it just right, ok - if not, figure it'll be there next trip:confused3

never sat thru barney...keep threatening my boys though:rolleyes1

or the animal show

or fear factor

would rather ride something we really luv repeatedly kwim?

From a man point of view, the princess in the Sinbad show is prettyHOOOOOT GOD LOOKING!

Macravein- You have got to do Popeyes!! It is our favorite all time ride anywhere! We bring a change of clothes in a gallon ziplock bag and put it in the lockers next to Wimpys (thanks for the tip on the lockers - Bubba'smom!) When you get off just go back to the lockers and the restrooms are right there by the lockers. We change and put the wet clothes in the ziplock. And Bubba'smom- you have to do Barney!:rotfl2: Our son is 9 also (he is autistic) and STILL loves Barney! I have to admit I still love the show also.

dsmom, i 'm just worried about all the people that i spent the quarters on if i get on that ride.

what if they all gang up on me and use their quarters on me......

Popeye is a must, but only a one-timer every time we go. What we do is do Popeye right before lunch, walk back to the Hotel, swim, change, then go eat and back to the parks. Great strategy I believe::yes::

I agree, Popeye is a must!! It is my favorite!! (can you tell I love this ride?!) My brother rode it for the first time last year and he said you can not come off that ride in a bad mood! You have got to ride it once Macraven! I will ride it with you in October....

We loooove Popeye also! Before we even get in line, we talk off our socks
and shoes and carry them with, then stow them away in that middle section
of the ride, it has the plastic covering to protect your belongings

And Ripsaw Falls! That is one of our favorites :)

We've always (only been twice) skipped the water rides...not this year! We're going on them all this time. Our son is a little older and up for everything this time...I can't wait. I'm sure in August we'll welcome the wetness. And I promise I won't wear a poncho! but I will wear a hat on our "water ride day"

Edited to ask: Is Popeye better than rip shaw falls?

I like Dudley better. Don't know why really, you get really wet on both of them, but Dudley is more sceneic i think

Hi Macraven- we have not made resevations yet for Oct. When are you going? We will just make it a short week-end visit to meet you so let us know when you are going. I am still trying to convince my husband we need to try HRH. He fell in love with the Hard rock cafe on the last visit so I think he is weakening:banana: He said the resturants look interesting at the HRH also- have you tried the Palm Resturant?
