Going on a quick trip in December with my Dad and going to spend one day taking him over to see Harry Potter. Problem is he had a total knee replacement a few years ago and although he can walk short distances no problem the walk from the garage I remember to be quite a distance. He will rent a scooter at the park if I can find a way to get him to Islands of adventure.

Do they have anything that can assist us getting there? Even if we could borrow a wheelchair I wouldnt mind pushing him the distance.

Anyone have any suggestions?

According to the Universal's website:
Manual wheelchairs are also available at the Rotunda area of the parking structure.

That isn't too far from where you park (depending on which garage you end up on).. so you could either go and get the wheelchair and bring it back, or you could end up being close enough for him to walk. Or if there was someone else in your party, they could be dropped off at the guest drop off area, which enters right at the Rotunda area of the parking structure.

Universal may offer other services that I don't know about as well that could assist your father.

I know they have wheelchairs by the walkways in the parking garage. You could grab one of these and take him to the wheelchair/scooter rental place which if I remeber are in both parks as well as the rotunda before you get into Citywalk.

Thanks for the help. This sounds like a great option for us.
