Are there any adults art/craft activities on board?

With cartooning and imagination the start of it all, I'm surprised I haven't seen anything mentioned. My degrees are in art and I would love to have something like a painting day at sea...

Posing Mickey and characters or still lives of them, sunset at sea, extended character drawing classes (like full figure and color version of what's offered in Hollywood Studios)....a lot of things would be fun...

The animation classes are all I'm aware of also. Although on our Hawaii cruise they had some special classes (lei-making, and koi nut bracelets). But those were probably added due to the extra length of the cruise. We also had some origami classes on our Mexico cruises several years ago.

Thanks all, at least there's a little something. I'm thinking of bringing watercolors along but not sure how many activities on board will be distracting...I do like to karaoke too :)

Belle - What craft(s) by the way?

There are crafts scheduled in the Navigator but they are a poor substitute for what you want. It's things like "Door Hangers" (they are cut out of construction paper and you get some markers and there are a few very random stickers and sequins to put on), or paper folding crafts. The only okay craft that we saw was button making (but you still only had the same stickers and sequins to decorate your button with). It however was held on Castaway Cay day (on our Fantasy cruise) at 2pm when most people were still on the island.

On Celebrity we made bottle cap necklaces or key chains, shadow memory boxes and wine glass charms. Actual "stuff" that made great souvenirs to bring home.

When we were on board a couple of weeks ago, we went to an adult "tile coaster" craft time in O'Gills.. I had thought it would be ceramic tiles. It turned out that the coasters were very flimsy pieces of wood that you decorated with "tiles" you could color with markers. It was very low quality. It really looked like a pre-school craft.
We did not stay to do it.
I think Disney could really do better.

I'll be bringing my own arts and crafts. Probably one knitting project and an embroidery project. Just a few minutes on either clears the mind. And something to do on the plane.

That's a shame...there are so many things that would be fun...

Yeah, I'll probably bring some crochet and maybe watercolors...ah well...there are so many suggestions I wish they'd implement...which your pic reminds me, I wish they put Journey into the Imagination back the way it was...it will always be a disappointment now, I loved the old ride...the new one is the most logical and least imaginative you can get...the 5 senses have nothing to do with imagination...sigh
