Any AP Discounts Now (or Rumored to be Coming)??

actually there are a lot of DVC members that couldn’t buy this pass. Members who work visit only in the summer. I have one daughter who’s a member who only goes during holidays and summer. My other daughter avoids those times. Needless to say, my one daughter doesn’t travel with us and the other one does. Only us older individuals with no school age kids would probably use a silver pass. We don’t do easter orChristmas and never summer.

Members who work only visit in the summer? I work full time and rarely go in the summer, only if the dates are connected to an event (milestone birthday). Typically go April, May, fall. Silver would work for me.

Indeed, but I also see the issue of Disney leaving $$$ on the table. If the Silver people were going to come that time anyway, why would they give you a discount?
I think it’s all about manipulating crowds.

true, we stay at Bwv most trips and continue to meet more and more couples at the pool who only stay at the resorts and actually no longer go to the parks now. That may be us one day too. We find we only use our ap now to go to the park, eat, walk around and maybe ride one or two rides. I guess our needs and desires are changing. Never thought it would happen....

This March trip we are going for 10 days (BWV) and are planning on a no parks vacation our first! We figure this is a test trip. However, our November trip we more then likely will get another AP again, but???. We plan on exploring very aspect of WDW without the parks.

I did like the noon and later pass as it worked for my current trip with a friend. Of course, that wasn't just for DVC, but if it was popular and helped achieve whatever it was that Disney was trying to achieve, maybe it will come around again!!!

Have my fingers crossed the noon to evening tickets are continued - these would really work for us.
What are the prices of those? Do you have to pick the day you will use them or still have the choice to use them over a two week period? Debating whether to spend the money on a gold AP for 50th anniversary at WDW or stick to single tickets. :wave2:

Did you notice a difference in the crowds with those tickets? Or was it just more of a convenience for you visiting the parks?

That worked great for our friends who came in December.
Getting to the park at noon was probably the earliest we were going to get there anyway. We spent two days at Epcot, and one at MK. Saw CP twice once with Gary Sinise and once with Pat Sajak.

Are those tickets any cheaper?
They were.
