any always pick the same restaurants?

I'm kind of the same way. I might venture out and try something new, but it mostly stays the same, or there are repeats, skipping genes.

This trip will be our first time on the regular DDP (our previous trips have been DxDP):
Kona (repeat)
Rose and Crown (new)
Yak and Yeti (repeat)
Le Cellier (repeat)
Tony's (repeat)

We've done Kona, Yak and Yeti, and Tony's once before. This will be our third time at Le Cellier. I love food but don't consider myself a foodie. I haven't met anything at the World that I didn't like (well, except for the mahi mahi at Coral Reef, but that was my own fault as I'd never tried mahi mahi before and didn't know I didn't care for it).

We went for 8 nights in April 2010 and again for 8 nights in Dec. 2010.

In December the only "repeat" we did was the Hoop De Do Review and that was because it is a tradition.

We love trying new resturants. WDW has so many choices.

In April 2010 we did:Crystal Palace
WCC
San Angel (Mexico)
Hoop De Do Review
Norway
Sci-Fi
Tusker House
T-Rex
Germany
House of Blues

In Dec. 2010 we did:Rose and Crown
Le Cellier
Big River Brewery
Cape May
50's Prime Time
Hoop De Do Review

Past trips
CRT
Garden Grill
Chef Mickeys
Rain Forest Cafe

Plans for future trips
Coral Reef
La Hacendia
Japan
Via Napoli
Italy
Ohana
Yak and Yeti

There are so many cool interesting places to eat at WDW that we try to do new ones each time we go.

We tend to also go to a lot of the same places. The key with us is looking at the menus and then deciding. Our daughter is an extremely picky eater so that limits us in what we select for restaurants.

My favorite story was her last trip on the children's dining plan when she just made the cut-off before having to be on the adult dining plan. We were at Chef de France and my husband, son, and I were enjoying our beef tenderloin and all she wanted was pasta and butter (and of course chicken fingers/fries for her counter service during the day). My son laughed out loud and said "thank goodness Mom and Dad you didn't have to pay $38.99 a day for pasta and butter and a chicken finger!!" :rotfl2:

So for us, looking at the menus and sticking with what works for her is what limits us. I do try to at least add one or two new dining experiences each visit and then stick to our old favorites for the rest.

We do go back to our favorites but we also like to try a few new ones too.

For our next trip we are doing all new places. DS is not happy that we aren't doing Boma for dinner like last time. We compromised and we'll do Boma for breakfast. We only go every two years so I want to mix it up. I was just talking to the kids the other day about where we are going to eat. It was funny, they didn't want to do any character meals other than CRT. That was ok with me...

We pretty much have our favorites to hit each trip. One that's fun and not as crowded (most of the time) is Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge.
