Any almond milk at DL

We're flying out to CA later this month to head to DL, and I was wondering what your experience has been with dining with a dairy allergy at DL. Our 16 month old daughter is allergic to milk (she's slowly out growing it and it's now more of a sensitivity), but she still drinks almond milk. Do any of the restaurants offer almond milk or should we just stop by a store in town? Thanks!

Starbucks has their own almond milk for drinks, but I've heard mixed results if they'll serve it a la carte. I'm sure you can pay for a prepared drink and ask for just the milk. Disney's non-dairy milk of choice is soy milk, and even then, it's only at some coffee locations. I'd bring some shelf stable milk with you and stop if that's not enough. But you want to have something just in case.

I haven't seen any milk alternatives at quick service places (nor was she offered any at Minnie's breakfast at the Plaza Inn). I know Starbucks has some, but we don't go in there anymore (my milk (and then some)-allergic daughter reacts and has trouble breathing due to the steamed milk in the air). We haven't tried sit-down places with her yet (short toddler attention span). We bring in the shelf-stable Silk milks for her, or she just drinks water or juice.

A recent thread on another Disney fan board on exactly this same topic came to the conclusion that the best solution was to bring your own almond milk with you.

I just walked out of the Starbucks on Main Street. I asked them about getting a cup of almond milk. They said they can give you a small one (12 ounces?) for around $2-3.

I think it would be safe, as a pp noted, to bring some almond milk with them, just in case. If Starbucks runs out, there wouldn't be anywhere else to go. If soy milk can be substituted in a pinch, that is available at a few locations at DLR.

Also, all of Starbucks non-dairy milks are their own brand and they have added sugar. The soy milk is vanilla flavored. I know a lot of people, especially kids like a particular brand, so if you're able to bring some, that's the safest option.

Yep Starbucks seems to be the only place to get non - dairy milk. I bring my own for breakfast and my own creamer for my morning coffee.
