Hi,
You know your an obsessive planner ,when you are wracking your brain second guessing a room request...that you might NOT get:o

At WDW some hotels air-conditioning units have new sensor if not moving air shuts off.

Anyone have issues with their room NOT being cool enough. Admittedly I do like a COLD room.

Now I was all geared up for my Ocean view EWA request. Until I just read a post on another thread about the sun beating down on that side of resort all afternoon.

Will I have to close my shades on my very high point Ocean view room because the sun will overheat room.?:scared:
Thanks
Kerri

The sun does not beat down on Ewa OV, its the other way around. Have stayed in Ewa OV High Floor 2bedroom twice with no issues with the air or the sun. In fact, I've only ever looked across the way and felt sorry for the other tower OV rooms.

Wow that is great! I must have misunderstood other poster.
Thanks

We've been to Aulani 3 times so far, each time in an OV Grand Villa, once in Ewa and twice in Waianae. At no time in either tower did we have any issues with the AC maintaining a comfortable temperature.

I'm sensitive to the temperature in the room and never had an issue with the AC. In fact, there were a few times I was too cold at night and there wasn't much in the way of bedding/blankets to keep me warm!

Thanks. My family knows to pack the long johns in case they get a chill in the room:o wherever we go. LOL.
I will set it down and get a few blankets. I do try to conserve every other way though.:-)
Thanks
Kerri
