We are going a rent a cabin in Monticello IN in May. I have never went camping, but always wanted to. Would y'all help with what I should bring, etc? My DH wants to barbecue at night (there are charcoal pits right outside). There is electricity but no kitchen. The water spigot is outside.
What am I in for??

Plus, a real bonding experience with your family! You'll be in a cabin, which is a good choice for a first time camper. You'll get the feel for it without needing to pitch a tent or pull a camper. You will get dirty, you will have to improvise and work together. Remember to relax, enjoy your family and take in the big outdoors! Nature is taken for granted these days, so get out there, and see this beautiful Earth that we have!
J/K, you will have a wonderful time. Bring bikes and things for the kids, lots of marshmellows, games, and chairs to sit around the fire. The rest is just accessories! Have a FABULOUS time!!
