We need to sort out insurance for our trip in Feb. Any companies you can recommend or to avoid? We just want single trip not annual, family of 4, 2 week holiday. :sunny:

We have seen their site too... Direct Travel look good for us.. it's easy to do and you can read what's covered or not before you decide which policy and company have what you want :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

check our insurefor.com - I got a quote for next yr familyx4 - single trip £41.00 :thumbsup2

I found this thro MoneySavingExpert.com -top bloke when it comes to dosh!

Until a couple of months ago I would have cheered for M&S :sunny:

We needed to claim, last year, for a flight delay and medical costs for DD, and had the cheque, in hand, within a week :thumbsup2

They have, however, apparently changed underwriters this last 12 months (now AXA I believe) and I resorted to claiming for my emergency dental treatment through my Westfield subscription as M&S wanted me to get a letter from my GP regarding my dental treatment (cost of £30 before I even started) .............................my GP has never seen my teeth.....! :confused3

We haven't re-newed our M&S policy

DH had a great quote from Help the Aged this last trip - despite the fact he has a long standing, medical condition :thumbsup2
M&S wouldn't even consider covering him, even though they did so last summer :confused3
