Any advice for a Halloween costume?

My son is 6 years old and has some developmental delays. They can dress up for school but I don't know what he could be this year. It needs to be something simply constructed that he can maneuver himself for when he has to go to the bathroom and something not too hot because he tends to get warm anyway.

I've looked at every store in our town and can't find anything that isn't one piece or furry.

I can sew, but time is running out!!

He's been in the past, Tigger, a cow, a bumble bee, Bob the Builder and an army man. Can anyone help me?

I should add that there aren't any characters he really likes except Dora, but I don't really want to dress him up like that.

I turned my DD into a 'crayon' for Halloween when she was six. It's really easy so you should have plenty of time before Halloween. I'll do the best I can to describe directions verbally.

First, buy a cheap plain sweatshirt (no hood or front pouch) and sweatpants in a 'lighter' color. (E.G. don't pick black or brown....usually oranges, blues, yellow, greens, lighter red will work.) I got my DD's sweats at a Michael's craft shop but I'll bet Sears or Children's Place would work.
Next, you need a very fat black washable marker (also from Michael's. Actually I bought two in case one ran out of ink.) Using a crayola crayon as a 'model', copy their trademark and logo onto the sweats. Draw the wavy lines around the shoulders and ankles and put a Crayola oval on his chest. Look at a crayon.....it'll make sense!
Then, make a pointed hat of the same color out of construction paper.

It meets all your needs. Comfortable, easy to manage bathroom-wise, easy for others to recognize what you are. The added benefit - if you use a washable marker - you can reuse the sweats as play clothes. Just wash them separately to get the marker out!
