Any adult Twilight lovers?

Read all four in about 3 weeks, went to opening night, and just finished "The Host".

Yes ma'am. I am into it. I got my mom, my roommates, and all of my co-workers into it. There are a lot of adult Twilight lovers out there...you would be amazed.

::raises hand::
I also read all four books in a matter of days...lol I have seen the movie 3 times, and have also read the Host, which I love just as much as Twilight. I hope she keeps writing for a long time. I just really like her style!

I joined the Twilight bandwagon late. But when I did....I couldn't stand to put the books down! I read them all in less then 2 weeks. And I just love them!

I'm addicted too. i read Twilight on the plane to Florida and at my grandfathers house and finished it before we went to Disney. Then while at Disney I went to see Twilight at the Pleasure Island theater there. Since I've been home, I've read the remaining three in one week and seen the movie two more times. It's going out of our theater tomorrow so I'm gonna catch it one more time tonight. It's a sickness=P

I read them all and have moved on the to Charlaine Harris HBO True Blood series (Sookie Stackhouse novels). They are an adult version of Twlight. I also started the Laurell K. Hamilton series (even more adult).

Count me in.

The books sucked me in over the summer and I barely came up for air. I have not seen the movie yet. I was going to re-read twilight first. But from what I heard recent there are several spots in the movie that are not true to the book. So I am thinking that will just tick me off more so I better see the movie first.

They actually did pretty good. They left some parts out, but if they made it completely true to the book it would be about 6 hours long! LOL I am one of those people who get really mad when movies mangle the books I love, and I was/am not mad at all. They did a good job adapting it to the screen!

Sci Fi channel has been doing a marathon on Twilight Zone all day today.

I agree. I finished the book two days before I saw the movie and it was pretty damned close. The only place that annoyed me in the movie was the very end in the hospital where Bella freaks out over Edward saying they should be apart. They both did a piss poor job of portraying that scene. other than that they did pretty well with the time constraints. I'm sure the next movies will be better when they get deeper into their characters.

Thanks Tracy!

Ok I need to go see it quick

HUGE Twilight Fan here! I read all 4 books in less than 10 days; I just couldn't stop myself! LOVED the movie too, even though some parts are altered.

Another important question to ask: Team Edward or Team Jacob? For me it's EDWARD all the way baby!
(Anyone know of any websites to go to for pics of Twilight for signatures? I've seen a few on the boards and I love them!)

I never liked Jacob. Never. :sad2:

How could anyone not love Edward though? He is the ultimate bad boy, unattainable, dangerous, and completely in love with the girl. ahhh Edward

I just borrowed the books and can't wait to start them :)

My 17 year old daughter got me hooked on them last year or two years ago. I have read all the books...including The Host. The movie did a great job of replicating what you imagine while reading the books!!

My DH even went to see it with me. He did not read the books and had little expectations of the movie. He enjoyed the movie and commented it might even be better than Lost Boys (the only movie he could relate to Twilight). He did not like the 'shiny' Edward however...thought it was too much!

**still trying to figure out why this thread is on the Disney discussion forums**

I read the True Blood series books in a few weeks and passed the first on to jadedbeauty now. I think you will love the books. Think mature version Twilight and lots of hot vampires.

Finally saw Twilight this afternoon. I could have sat right threw at least more showings. I had goosebumps in the meadow. It was just amazing.

I know exactly what you mean! Robin and I caught the first showing on opening weekend in Niagara Falls and I wanted to just leave the kids at school and watch it again! LOL All I could do was say "...Edward...." and sigh. LOL
