Any additional discounts??

Are there any ways to get additional discounts when buying in? Other than the 8 dollar credit is it possible to widdle them down lower or is a pretty much set price? Can I hold out and get them to come back with a better offer. Pretty sure we're going to buy now just didn't know if we could save money.

Disney won't "haggle" with you. However, the resale market does offer a little room to haggle on price per point, closing costs, and any annual dues. The problem with haggling too much is you may price your contract below the ROFR threshhold and then Disney has just bought the contract out from under you.

The price is the price. Disney doesn't have to worry about beating the bushes for buyers, so they don't haggle. If you want a lower price AND lower number of points, you might try looking at the resale market.

Check the DVC Resale Listing link above to see what's out there for resale. It's a great way to save some money on DVC. You just need to have patience since it takes longer to close then buying direct from Disney.
