Any ABD tie-ins planned for DCL 2016?

Now that the new schedule is out, I'm wondering if there are any ABD planned to coordinate with the cruises?

If they follow last year's pattern, they probably won't be announced until sometime after the new ABD trips come out in late May. Last year, the add-ons for 2015 were announced in early June.

I would be very surprised if there isn't a new add-on for the British Isles cruise that uses pieces of the Brave Scotland trip, the Ireland trip, and their London/Paris trip.

We plan to book the British Isles cruise, but mostly as a backup in case for some reason we don't end up doing the China ABD next summer. The start date of that cruise isn't great because our kids would have to miss the last week of school, but that isn't necessrily a deal killer. An ABD add-on for that cruise would definitely enhance its appeal. Although I suppose we should see what we think of the add-on for this summer's Baltics cruise that we are doing first before getting excited about the possibility of an add-on for the BI cruise. Plus I *really* want to do China. Way too many good choices.

Funny I was going to book the British Isles cruise as well. Then I took a hard look at the Scotland and Ireland ABD's and decided I prefer those itineraries. We're also planning an Aulani family reunion about the same time. Tough, fun choices.

Thanks, Cousin Orville. The game plan is definitely ABD China for 2016 barring any unfavorable itinerary changes or a prohibitive price increase. I haven't received my quote for the British Isles cruise yet, but based on want I am hearing, I expect it to be pretty outrageous, so I am glad it is not our first choice. Plus I know there are better British Isles cruise itineraries out there for a future trip. I really want to do Ireland too. That is likely 2017 for us. Either ABD or Tauck or maybe National Geographic. I highly recommend the Scotland ABD. We loved every minute of that trip.

We would love to cross paths with you on a China ABD in 2016, SayHello! (Our family travels with Calfan's family). But I suspect you'll go adults only? We have kids so we'll likely be shooting for the first June date that we can when they are out of school.

I usually do the Adults Only trips. But I suppose I could be talked into taking a family trip under the right circumstances. This year they only had Adults Only trips at the end of the Season; none at the start. It might depend on how far into June you guys were looking at. I'd rather stay away from the hot months!

Sayhello, we don't like heat either, which is why our strategy is to book the earliest date in June that we can make based on the date the kids get out of school. We figure June has to be better heat-wise than July or August.
