Any 1st trip Tips ?

My best tip is to take in those things around you. I couldn't believe things I had missed before, just because we were commandos in the parks!!

WDW isn't going anywhere, so pace yourself, and enjoy your surroundings. Hit those rides you definitely want to do, and then look for those other attractions which interest you.

Sometimes the smallest and cutest details are missed when rushing!

Chapstick is good to have, even in November. Also, gum if you are a gum chewer. They don't sell it in the parks.

I also agree with taking a break in the middle of the day. Now since you are staying off site, I don't know how that would work since we have never done that. But you can take a break by going to one of the resorts and having lunch in one of the resort restaurants. They are usually not crowded in the middle of the day. And you can tour the resort. That is a nice break from the parks.

And when you go to get in line where there is multiple lines, stand back and watch where people are going. Most people tend to go to the right making the left line shorter.

Get a Birnbaum's Official Guide and read the chapter on MK thoroughly. Each Disney trip will be a bit different (which is why so many of us can go back so much). Go to one of your doctors and get him/her to write out your prescriptions on one pad. Take this in your suitcase. If anything happens to your regular meds, it will be easier to replace them with this.
When at MK, don't miss the Mountains, the Haunted Mansion, and the Pirates. We usually plan to be in one park each day. Park-hopping is time consuming.
Try to make it to the Adventurer's Club on Pleasure Island. Believe it or not, it's a quiet place (relatively) and VERY entertaining!
As much as possible, LEAVE HOME AT HOME! It will make the 'escape' much more enjoyable!
Get a big enuf Fanny Pack to carry essentials--camera, money, blistex, sunscreen, guidemap, etc. Bigger stuff you can always rent a locker.
HAVE A BLAST AT WDW!!!!
