Any 10-16-04 cruisers yet?

Hello,
I have been reading the posts for a couple of days while waiting to be able to write my own. This seems to be such a nice group of people, and I wanted to join. We are sailing on the 10/16 cruise. It will be me and my husband, daughters aged 3 & 7, and my parents. We have adjoining category 9 staterooms.
We went on the Western Caribbean in May of 2002, and I couldn't wait to do the cruise again.
We really enjoy the Disney experience, and are actually going to WDW this September, and then returning to FL for the cruise in October.

Thought I would just check in. We are having a rock climbing wall Spiderman birthday party today. I am gonna race those 8 year olds up that wall and make sure they fall if they beat me to the top. My son needs to learn his party is all about me enjoying myself...ha ha ha.

We are getting excited about the cruise. We are booking excursions this week. I can't believe we are at the 60 day mark. I have to go find a formal dress but other than that we are just about ready to cruise.

Kids start back to school on Wednesday. I want you to know that no children were harmed this summer. Zero casualities is a good record....better than last year.

Hi Everyone,

We made our final payment months ago - in May I think. The Aussie dollar was performing well so we thought we'd make the most of it in case it went back down.
Now we are trying to decide on our shore excursions. At this stage we are thinking of the 2 Flags island tour in St. Martin, then the Golden Eagle Catamaran in the afternoon; and the St John Island Tour in St. Thomas. We were thinking about the Rhino riders but since both hubby and I are overweight I wasn't sure how we'd go.

I called Disney and they stated we could begin booking shore trips tomorrow the 17th at 8 AM. Does anyone know how easy it is to get the Paradise Point Tramway and the difference in price?

Kathy ~ Thanks for the time info. According to the Paradise Point Tramway web site it's $15 for adults, $7.50 for kids 6-12 and Free under 5. That is the same as DCL.

Kathy: Paradise Point is a short walk across the strret from the pier.

We won't be booking any excursions. We will be shopping in St. Martin. I can't wait.

What I am looking forward to is the spa. I love a facial and I am going to try the reflexology. I love the Rainforest.

We get the keys to our new house on Sept 1st!!!

We hope to move some stuff over Labor Day weekend and then have the movers do the rest during the week.

We just got back from New Orleans last night. I really enjoyed the tours we took. Saw lots of alligators and took an airboat ride which was alot of fun. Can't talk about our room but it was nice and had windows. (Sorry, Julebobo! )

We aren't booking any excursions. My son, grandson, and SIL are doing the banana boat thing and I think we will do Paradise Point on our own.

Hey, if anyone's interested we could all post what excursions and times we're doing to see if any of us are doing the same one. DH is going off with his family, so DS and I will be all alone on our excursions.

We're doing:
St. Maarten - See & Sea Island Tour 8:15am
St. Thomas - Coral World 8am
When we get back from Coral World we're going to do Paradise Point Tramway, on our own.
