What do you all take thats herbal or over the counter for Anxiety? Is there such a thing?

My DH started taking Hoodia as a fat burner, which I don't believe it is, but the surprising side effect was it totally mellows you out. I make sure we always have it in the house now. This is the one we get. hoodia :goodvibes

st. john's wart can interefer with bcpills, just as an fyi.

I heard, and not sure how true this is, it can interfere with a LOT of stuff.... that it should almost be considered like an MAOI, and you know the warnings on everything about those....

This is gonna sound silly, but there's a tea from Celestial Seasonings called Tension Tamer.... when I drink it regularly it truly makes a difference, honestly. In fact there's a 'boost' from Jamba Juice....Femme Boost.... loaded with B vitamins, that also does the same mood calming thing. So maybe it's the B Vitamins, maybe it's the placebo effect. :confused3

In any event, good luck to you, and I hope you find something that works for you. I deal with anxiety and it truly, truly sucks. :guilty:

I want to try this!

Has it been helpful for burning fat/weight loss?

Thanks!

I agree on the Tension Tamer tea. I always keep some of that on hand.

Lavendar aromatherapy candles have a calming effect too.

I've tried St Johns Wort and it really didn't do much for me.

Totally not trying to hijack... in fact I'll tie the question into the thread...

What ever happened with your hair, Aidensmom? I know that having hair issues can cause anxiety.... :rolleyes1
