antque tools? Price?

my boyfreind asked me to try and find the value of a old line cutter (for electrical lines) for him. The company that made it is tipps tool company from tayorville, ill. The line cutter is from 1870. I know the company later became a.b. chance but this wasnt till the 1937. Any ideas? TIA!!
