ANTM - Cycle 11

Did I miss an episode or am I going crazy? I remember the last bottom two (before last night) being Brittany and Isis with Brittany going home.

AT the very beginning of the show they showed footage of Brittany and Anna Leigh begin the last two the week before.

I watched it in real time, then saw your post, then watched it taped with my daughter...so I was paying attention the second time around to see who was in the bottom two.....

I saw an interview yesterday with Mr. Jay - he said he 'called' the winner of this cycle on the first episode. I distinctly remember him saying that to a girl, but I don't remember WHO!!!???!!

Well, I for one am surprised at how Isis's story/performance played out over the season, based on my pre-season guesses, but her photos really were not so great.

I think she sort of knew she was going when it was down to the final 2.

Now, here's what I don't get. That designer fellow (who made the Carol Burnett Show GOne With tthe Wind dress - whatever, HACK!) had such a HUGE problem with Sam's runway performance, why not lobby for her to be cut at the first cut of the episode, right after the runway, instead of Hannah? And for goodness sakes, buddy, you are on ANTM, which is sort-of laughable and a bit of a joke, so take the stick out of your kiester. It is disgusting to see a talentless sack of goo sit there and try to make a young girl break down into tears when she is obviously sorry for her behavior.

I do think the little speech Tyra gave was good for all the girls to hear, however. Since it's a MODEL show, they all think everything is about them. But in runway, the model is essentially a walking hanger who does work for the designer.

I think Paulina was spot on about Isis. She was so busy trying to fit in as a woman that she didn't stand out as a model.

He also reminded me a little of Jeffrey who won Project Runway S4, who I thought was a total jerk and not nearly as talented as he thought he was.

I just found this post..i Love AMNTM and Project Runway!

I was so Shocked they sent Hannah home last night!!! What was up with that? Clearly that other girl did not listen to the Designer and kept pushing her dress up. He warned her before the runway show and then she went out there and did it Bigger than Dallas.

She should have gone home instead of Hannah.

Isis... well... she didn't sparkle. She seemed distant and removed from All of her photos.

Who does everyone pick to be in the top three?

What's funny is that at the beginning of the cycle, I read a spoiler that said that the final two were Isis and Marjorie. Wrong, I guess.

When i first looked at the photo of the girls in that 70s theme.. I thought that Majorie looked like a winner.

From the previews it looks like they are going to make Majorie the focus of next week.. and that she'll be a little fightey joe.


Annaleigh looks SO much like Denise Richards, she could be her little sister.

I haven't seen this weeks episode yet but I'm sad to hear that Hannah went home . She seemed like she was such a sweet girl but in reality she probably wouldn't have made it in the real modeling world.

I'm no fan of the girl who went home but I don't think that she deserved to go home this week.

In every episode last cycle and in every episode this cycle until last night, I've been able to correclty pick the bottom two and correctly pick who would be eliminated. My record was broken last night....it was a shocker. But right before they announced who would go home I thought, "If [the one I thought would go home] goes home, there will only be one Asian girl and the rest white." I don't think they wanted to let that happen.

The girl that went home sure got knocked off her high horse, didn't she?? She shouldn't have been saying she was number one in the house and she was above all the others. It changes every week! I'm not sad to see her go.

I think Marjorie will have trouble with go-sees and commercials. She's just too nervous.

Mckey will not make a good Covergirl. I'm sorry, but watching her talk out of the side of her mouth is not attractive. It would not make a good commercial. I don't think her or Marjorie will win just for those reasons.

Samantha (tidal wave girl?)...Something about her just bugs me. I haven't figured it out yet though. Mr. Jay was telling the girls to sell the outfit at the shoot, and then they pick one of her where you can't see her outfit at all! Doesn't make sense. I think they pick bad photos of the ones they want to go home. Like in the bikini shoot, some had face shots, while others were full body. I think they should let the girl pick the photo she wants critiqued.

I think Samantha is just not smart. She says stupid, insensitive things, but I think it is because she is flat out not too bright. Plus, I think she looks a lot like Whitney in the face...they can't let her win.

As soon as I saw her the clip of her saying she was #1 I said she's going home.

And I totally agree about the bikini shoot. I said the same thing. It wasn't fair to judge some of the girls on their poses and some on their faces.

Clark was sent home last night. After being the winner of the previous week. She and Joslyn were the bottom two and Joslyn got to stay because she had a better "personality".

Aaahhh, thanks! I was hoping it was Clark...I haven't liked her from the start. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch this episode when it airs again on Sunday.

Just wanted to give a head's up to those who missed it and looking for a replay on Sunday.

Just checked the tv listings in today's paper and a Top Model repeat is scheduled for tonight at 9. I don't know if this is this week's episode or if it's just for this area but last week's was not replayed here on Sunday so I'm thinking Friday may be the new replay night.
