Anti-virus protection for computer

I need a budget Anti virsus protection for my computer are there any free trials out there? Any Advice?

I use the free version of AVG. Some of my co-workers use the free version of Avast, but I have no experience with it.

I use the free version of Avira for myself and mother. No problems, though from everything I read before going with it, it and AVG are always talked about highly.

Also, you may want to check with your internet service provider. Sometimes they offer free or reduced-price versions of anti-virus products.

The free version of Avast is excellent. It finds spyware and virus software that nothing else I use detects. The home version is free. You have to register, and they give you a code, but there is no charge, and they don't need anything other than your email address.

Check with your internet provider. We are with Insightbb (local cable provider) and they have a free antivirus package that is offered.

We use AVG, it catches viruses that were getting thru the Norton and the McAfee we had.

Zonealarm is a excellent free firewall protection. I use that with AVG and my computer is good shape.

I use Cyberdefender. Ithas a free scanner and it's really easy to use. I feel much more safe now that I've loded it onto my computer. Good luck to you and happy safe computing.
