Ebony: Ebony threw Genevive to the ground. She landed on her bum. Ebony glared back down at her. "This girl decided to meddle where she wasn't wanted. She's the reason I can't use my powers." She hated to say that Genevive defeated her, but maybe if she talked trash about her in front of this boy, Genevive could get a small taste of revenge.

Genevive: Genevive acted as if it hurt her badly, but sprang back at her, jabbing into the gut, then dropping to the ground, swinging her leg behind Ebony's legs, making her fall to the ground. Then she stood up and brushed her hands off, satisfied, but disappointed that Ren had seen this side of her.
