I have an item on ebay with a reserve price. The auction ends in 2 hours, and I received a question from a person that wants to know what my reserve price is. Do I tell them or say sorry..but I can't do that?? I have sold several of these items before, and haven't had this happen. I also have a buy it now on the auction, and have sold all of them for the buy it now price. The buy it now price is about $5.00 more than the reserve price.

Thanks guys.

I have asked and been asked reserve. I would say share it...IMHO it gives you a better chance of a sale. (They are willing to spend $17, your reserve is $20 and they know it, they will potentially go to that price).

I usually tell what the reserve price is if anyone asks, but it's srickly a personal decision.

If this person bids up to your reserve with 2 hours to go, you might get a sniper at the end that bids higher than your Buy It Now price. Stranger things have happened.

Or.........the bidder might be trying to decide if it's worth it to them to do the Buy It Now. If it were me, for the $5.00 difference, I'd buy it now.

Good luck!
