Well today is my birthday, no one has even noticed at home. Should I bother to remind them?

I remember their special days.... I guess I'm getting old and grumpy and really need a Disney fix at the World. :thumbsup2

Just wanted to give you a :grouphug: and wish you a :bday: ! I'm sorry that your family hasn't mentioned your special day yet. Do you think they have a surprise planned for later?

Awe!! Happy Birthday to you!!! My family usually remembers but doesn't do anything. :guilty: I am not sure what I would do if they didn't acknowledge at all. I guess I would say something? :badpc:

Awww!
That's terrible!

But maybe that means they are planning something big? :confused3

I wish you a Happy Brithday! :cake: :bday:

:charac2: :bday: to you, :bday: to you, :bday: dear princess: , :bday: to you!

Here is some pixiedust: and :dance3:

:grouphug:

On the off chance that it has slipped their minds, I'd make a big announcement. hey, it's my birthday

Happy Birthday :)

Thank you for the birthday wishes. I am crying like a big baby now.

No I don't think any surprises are coming. My husband and 2 sons (23 and 20) aren't like that!

Guess I'll go shopping and pick up cards and present for Father's Day. I will not remind them.

Maybe they will feel guilty later and send me to WDW!!!!! :rotfl:

:rockband: (doing my best Beatles impression) danna danna danna danna da na Today is you birthday!

Yeah, say something. You deserve it. Maybe they'll suprise you. Here's a car so you can go to WDW. :car:

I would go announce that I am taking myself out to lunch and shopping for my birthday and LEAVE.

That sucks! Your sons are old enough to remember themselves (though we all used to call my brother and remind him to call mom for the first few years after he moved out) and your DH has no excuse at all.

Happy birthday!! Go do something nice for yourself. You deserve it!!

From a fellow Gemini party: :bday: :dance3: :rainbow:

And when they DO remember, tell them they owe you BIG time! :teeth: :wizard:

Happy, happy Birthday, dear girl!!!!! I suffer from that syndrome at my house, too, and no matter how much your head knows it will just "slip their minds", your heart still hurts. I agree with the suggestion to go buy yourself something (happy birthday to me present).

Best Wishes,

Sharon

First of all, Happy Birthday!!! If I were in your situation, here is what I would do. I would go buy myself something I really wanted, and wrap it up as a Father's Day gift. Then when your DH opens it and wonders why you got him what you did, just say that your Father's Day present to him this year is that you saved him the trouble of shopping for a gift for your birthday. Then grab your gift out of his hands and say "thank you honey! I love it!"

ETA: And by the way, that would be his ONLY Father's Day gift this year!

Happy Birthday!!

I would just start singing happy birthday to myself really loud and see if they catch on!

Well, Happy Birthday to you!! We share the same birthday!!

My family remembers this day (gifts, cards), but I don't celebrate it. Maybe we should switch families! :rotfl:

Hope you have a happy day!! :bday: :cake:

Happy Birthday!!! My heart just breaks for you. It drives me crazy to read these threads where the male counterpart of a relationship just doesn't either remember an important date like a birthday or does remember but doesn't have the energy or strength or a care to do something for it. I'm really sorry.

:bday: :bday: :bday: That's a thought, but you have to eat stroganoff tonight as that's what DH picked for tonight.

Happy Birthday to you MdmMim!!!!

I'd order the biggest happy birthday balloons boquet you can and have it delivered to yourself at home. With no card. Then say to them - it must be from you all - THANKS! I LOVE IT!

(can you imagine their thoughts when the delivery person comes to the door......)
