I'm driving myself batty trying to make this decision. I'm getting $1,000 "bonus" type thing (did some work for a friend), and want to use it to take a vacation this year. I have three options, but just cannot seem to decide which would be "best".

Option 1- go to DL in June for my 24th birthday. I'd go the 4th-6th. Using 3 day military hoppers. I've never been in the summer, so it would be cool to finally get to go on the water rides. I wouldn't be there on my actually birthday (the 18th) but would still be celebrating it there. I'd miss out on Carsland and BVS. I'm worried it would be too crowded / hot to enjoy it.

Option 2- go to DL in November. Better weather, lower crowds, etc. I'd be going probably the first or second week of the official "Christmastime" season. I've already been during the holidays before, so it wouldn't be anything new, however I really loved it last time and would love to experience that again. Tickets would cost a lot more as the military hoppers would no longer be an option, so our budget would be pretty tight.

Option 3- forgo Disney altogether, and go home to Michigan in June for my birthday instead. I'd have to deal with the hassle of flying, getting good airfare, etc. I'd spend a day at Cedar Point. I'd have a little family get together with cake and all that for my bday.

The factors that are killing me:
-DB has never been to either Disney park, so it would be awesome to get to share his first experience.
-DB has not met my family yet, as they live on the other side of the country. We're pretty serious about each other, and it's important to me that my parents meet him.
-Money. We can only afford to do one of the options.
-Time sensitivity. DB is military and can't put in for leave until 30 days out. I'd have to wait to the last minute to book airfare and hope it works out.
-Also on the military front, DB only has so much leave to take. Disney would be 5 days either way (2 driving, 3 in park). Home would be 7-8 days.
-My parents WANT to come out to Tucson to visit around Thanksgiving, however it's really hard for my dad to get time off, so that may not be an option. I've lived here 5 years and they've only been able to come once.

I really WANT to go to Disney but I feel like I SHOULD go home. We're on the lower end of the financial spectrum, so I'd feel bad spending money on something as frivolous as Disney, however on the other hand this money i'm getting is a rare opportunity for us to be able to afford something frivolous like Disney. I'd hate to go ahead and go to Disney assuming my parents will be coming out here like they want, and then they can't and I don't get to see them/have them meet DB. I wish them coming here and going to Disney *with us* was an option, but is not.

Sorry this is so long, just wanted to try to get all contributing factors out there. WWYD?

I said June, go for your birthday. It will be hot but not unbearably and it will be crowded but again, not unbearably and if you go knowing it will be hot and crowded it will be ok. I'm sure your family would understand you wanting to celebrate your birthday your way. :)
