So I've been up for the past hour since midnight of my 60 day mark (5am here in the UK)

I booked my trip months ago, everything is linked to MDE (onsite resort reservation, 14 day park tickets starting September 2nd, etc)

Ever since I booked and linked everything, the Fastpass+ booking area has said "You may begin making FastPass+ selections for your vacation on July 4, 2014."

.. until today.. July 4th.. Now it has changed to

"You may begin making FastPass+ selections for your vacation on September 2, 2014."

Which is the first day of my trip??

Has this happened to anyone else / Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'll be so sad if I can't get Anna and Elsa / 7DMT passes :(

Thanks in advance.

did you manage to book them now? I'm in the uk and found it switched over at 6am our time

I'm going a few days earlier than you and I was having some issues around the time they were supposed to be released but a few hours later all was well. I was still able to snag 7dmt and A&E, and they're still showing as having different Fastpass time slots, so I think you're fine!

Heya!

I'm coming from the UK too and had a very very similar problem. For me though, it would let me book FP for four of our party, but not the fifth person - it said I had to wait until the 22nd of August to make bookings for them, which was our check in date.

I spoke with the tech support team and they said that although it appeared that all the tickets were linked online, it wasn't linked for that person on their systems. Usually, he said, a person could look at their ticket and re-enter the ticket number and that would refresh the booking, however as we're UK based and not picking our tickets up until arrival, he had to speak to the "UK team" and ask them to remove the ticket and then add it back on again.

It took maybe 20mins to resolve and we've not had any problems since!

Hope you've got it all worked out though, I know how frustrating it is... Lord knows, I booked this originally three years ago, and then we had to postpone for a year... now it's less than 50 days away, I hate it when anything goes wrong!

xx

I'm here in Italy and my trip begins September 2nd. (60 days out) Got up at 6am (midnight) and tried to book my fast passes. Up til now it said "you can begin July 4th"..Well today it said "begin September 2nd" what? I tried calling IT..can you believe they only open at 7am and close at 11pm? what a joke. I have been a supporter of the MDE/fastpass/magic bands etc. But now i know why so many people are pissed off. The website is a joke. Its all over the place.
Calling the resort I got ten different answers. And calling IT I got the same thing. Luckily about an hour later I was able to book fast passes. Because I'm going at the least crowded time of the year I pretty much got any time I wanted for everything including A and E and 7 dwarf mine… I do know that if I was going at peak time i would be very angry at the system and ALL its flaws and now I know why there are so many upset MDE/fastpass+ haters on these boards. The website is a mess and they are in way over their heads at Disney. It will be interesting September to see how the system runs. I read on these boards about a woman who got to rope drop, was told you don't have tickets, "go wait at guest services".. in line for 2 hours in the sun and they wheeled out a water cart for purchase and in compensation she got one fast pass. Thats not a good thing by any stretch for someone who spends big bucks on vacation.

I think it's unreasonable to expect Disney to have IT available 24 hours. The simple answer is to shut the system down between 11:00pm and 7:00am, unless the parks are open. I heard they are going to change the opening time for fastpasses to 6:00am so they don't have these middle of the night problems. Most large corporate systems run maintenance overnight, it doesn't need a big access hit at midnight.

I think a company with customers all over the globe and with such problems should have 24 hour IT. To not have it is unreasonable. 11 eastern is only 8 pacific. It's ridiculous to not have support for everyone.

CRO is not open 24 hours, they are open about the same hours as IT. DVC Member Services is only open 9:00 to 7:30 (5:30 weekends). Overnight is typically for maintenance, they are better off just doing that rather than trying to juggle phone calls or trying to work around people using the system.
