I haven't seen it mentioned in this forum but it was recently announced by MCO that certain airline passengers, WestJet being one of them, need to arrive even earlier for their flights as there is work being done on the monorail system on the one that directly affects those gates.

I don't see anywhere where DME is going to make adjustments in pick up times so I plan to call and ask for an earlier pickup.

To ensure that you do not miss your flight, motorcoach departure times are scheduled approximately 3 hours prior to your flight departure time for domestic flights, and 4 hours prior for international flights. Please note that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the departure point. Bell service luggage assistance is available upon request.

I assume we are considered international so I would think you should arrive at MCO in plenty of time.

So glad I'm considered domestic, we fly to Seattle then connect to YVR flight. Even with the 3 hrs arrival it's a long wait at mco.

This is a new situation that the OP is talking about and while the Tragically Distressed bus has always picked up international flights earlier than the domestic flights I'm not sure if they have taken into account this new wrinkle. It's worth noting that the Westjet counter is not always staffed until fairly close to the flight time. When we were coming home in January there were 2 flights departing within minutes, one to Toronto & one to Ottawa and by the time the crew arrived to check in luggage the line was very LONG! There were several people quite concerned they wouldn't get to the gate in time. Wasn't a concern though because the crew checking in the luggage magically became the flight crew!

OP, I will often give a dummy flight number that will allow me to get to MCO when i want to be there (often earlier to avoid stress)
