Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

yesterday I redid a video with some of their suggestions. Today it says DUPLICATE!! They can see I am wearing different clothes and added everything in that they asked. SO strange. This is only my 3rd month at this but how do you guys stick with expo with all the ups and downs? Seems so fickle!

I had the same thing happen. Email them and they will fix it for you, it was their error. They got back to me within a day which was nice. However, they still denied my reviews payment. The first time I did the reviews they were rejected because of lighting but with the comments they were great informative reviews. I changed the lighting, redid the review, and then it was rejected because they wanted me to do a demo! I don't mind them rejecting for stuff like that, but if they are only giving you one opportunity to fix it, they need to be consistent in what they are rejecting for. I've spent hours on these so far this month and only had 5 accepted so far. It's driving me MAD!

I got $6 in bonus money...***.

As now I have 5 of 5 approved...waiting on the last one.

They also rejected mine after I wrote them about it. They passed it on to PPP because my "video frame is choppy." They said I need to fix this as my video was good and the info was good. Soooooo if I had a nicer camera I could have had $10.00 bucks but now I get squat. Seriously. They have passed other videos so why now? The video looks fine to me. I am feeling fed up but want to get at least 2 more videos to be accepted for upfront payment. So I will try again next week.

I finally got movie maker because I was tired of my file sizes being too big. However, when I try to save it to my movies, it will not allow me to save at 50MB. Maximum is allows for this video is 22MB. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

I with all of you that have attempted to fix reviews, based on their comments, and still had them rejected. I had one that said, "great information and review but there is background noise in the audio." I took the exact same review and used a program to eliminate the background noise, but it still got rejected. I have yet to get one of my second attempts approved, even though I've been fixing everything they tell me is wrong.

Oh, I did get a $12 bonus for last month.

You don't have to have it be 50mb. My videos are usually around 22 and look fine. You're not doing anything wrong.

Thanks. I was getting worried. To the posters from earlier...I've had a couple of do-overs accepted. I'm still waiting for two more to see if they're approved. One has been there for about 4 days.

Anyone else notice the amount of time it's taking to get videos approved? I have 4 sitting in pending now for over a day....just curious? Used to get them approved within a hour.

Hi guys I finally have 1 pending. It took me a minute to get this right. I sure hope it gets accepted. :goodvibes

IDK, usually it varies by what day it is, and what the product is.

I'm just concerned todays batch might not make it through. I started by reviewing CFL bulbs, and forgot to change the bulb out before I did all my Crest products. Watching the preview they came out really orange!

I just uploaded 3 videos tonight so I'm hoping tomorrow to get some feedback. I'm nervous about just how picky they are. The first one the lighting is great, but at the very end my baby goes, "Gack!" in the background. The review is about baby wipes, so I'm hoping it won't matter.

Then the 2nd one I'm nervous about the lighting. It was getting darker outside so it isn't as bright as the other 2.

The final one I can't think of one thing wrong so if it gets rejected I'll be shocked (& frustrated.) But I'm just excited to get some feedback & see if this is something I'll do for the long haul. I did a few in February & ended up making $66.00. Then I didn't do any in March (just too busy) but would love to meet the 20 video limit this month. It's 20 accepted, right? Not 20 uploaded?

Thanks for all the info on here. I'll keep ya'll informed of how it goes.

I woke to notice my very 1st video was rejected for lighting and the said it was static and to make it a little more personal.:guilty: . So I was so happy that I finally figured out how to do this, I went and found 5 other products to do reveiws on. I moved the laptop into the kitchen right under the light, spoke louder and gave more personal experiences. Well I woke up this morning to find out all except the last one (it was still uploading this morning) was rejected for the same reasons:confused: . Now what, that took me ALL DAY. I did the 5 videos and had to fix a few by cutting off the ends. I started at about 9A.M and I put that last one on to be downloaded at about 10:30p.m. They were taking hours to upload and so I have no access to the computer the whole time. I had my DF come and figure out how to fix the webcam inside the laptop so that it doesn't use the highest quality recording because that makes it too big (over the 50MB) and they are saying the quality is bad.:confused3 This is becoming too much work. Any suggestions? I have the HP Pavillion Entertainment PC tx1000. Anyone using this laptop. Thanks

I am not sure what kind of camera you are using, but that might be the issue. If you are using a webcam I would almost say for sure that is the issue, they had been frowning upon that and not approving most it seems made that way.

I have noticed when mine take a while to upload that there seems to always be issues too. I haven't done any this month yet though.

Shoot, my videos are still pending. 36+ hours and counting. Hopefully today. In the middle of a month, shouldn't it be withing 48 hours or so? I'm so anxious to get feedback so I can do more!

Yeah, I just got my first round of mass rejections...
:(
I dropped my digital camear while we were at wdw, and apparently its making a REALLY bad squealing noise! As soon as I got the message, I played it again, and I can't believe I didn't notice it! It was TERRIBLE!
Good thing I bought the extended coverage at Best Buy, so I can go get it fixed, and just se my camcorder until then.

Seems like its taking extra long. I used to get them approved at least within a day...its now taking 2-4 days to get them reviewed at least. Have a friend at work that has been waiting awhile for his, and my wife has some still pending since the 13th.

Hey knowledgeable Expo TV reviewers! I have been looking for some basic information on how Expo TV works and have been having a hard time finding anything.
I have been reading a lot about choosing items that are in the database, what exactly does that mean and where can I find a list of these products.

I submitted three reviews yesterday and I was wondering how long the approval/rejection process usually takes. I really don't expect mine to be accepted but I am looking forward to their feedback so I will know how to make them better.

Is anyone willing to send me a message with their expo username so that i can check out some videos that have been accepted?
