Oh there is already a thread about Massive rejections by someone. I got a typed lashing by someone because I dare question expotv on a subject that I don't have personal experience with. But it was prefaced with "I am not trying to flame you" so it must be alright then. Orly? is that so?

I mean seriously I am a month old, I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID YET, and I have vids pending from last month... that doesn't mean I can't see through the expo shaded glasses or not have the koolaid have an immediate effect on me. I see flaws on there side and SOMEONE needs to point them out. Sorry if I have to wreck their little back padding party they had going on there. The uncertainty of everything I do for that site all their little tweakes and what not are really frustrating and them coming in saying how I shouldn't comment on others experience because they don't purtain to me is just bs. The database IS FLAWED, cuting amount of submissions in half and then basing the payout on these faulty database entires IS FLAWED, having 60+ vids rejected for shaddy reason IS FLAWED, regardless of how it directly affects me and whether or not I am a long term memeber or newbie, darnit

Well, I have shot a few videos as of this morning for this month- I really wish they'd go back to a flat rate, IMHO- but then again, I'm lazy like that! LOL!

Heck I wouldn't mind $2 a vid for all vids either... IF and ONLY IF they would increase the amount we could submit per month.

its not the $$ amount that is bugging me, its the limiting of the videos and then when we try to pick and choose items to help give us the best shot and money (playing within their very stingent and ever changing terms) they end up giving us $2 because it didn't match database... heck no, we should then have the ability to REFUSE our VIDEO from being on the site as we did not submit it for that price they approved it for.

hey I like that idea if my mug is going to be on there and it wasn't for the price I was submitting it for I should be allowed to deny my video and then resubmit at a later date.

Oh, I totally agree about being able to delete our own vids- particularly if they reclassify it as something crazy or whatnot! I'm just not FEELING IT this month- last month, I really got into it by shooting 50 videos- that's a lot for me in my crazy house with my crazy kids and crazy zoo! LOL! This month- it's like, what's the point when I have read about SO MANY rejections and the guidelines are always changing- at least, they seem to be (really, it's the viewer's discretion what they accept and what they don't accept!).

Ah well- I'll try to submit at least 25 this month. Yeah, barely anything- BUT it's the best I can do. It's not so easy showing my dogs using all of the products I like to review (shampoos, treats, dog leashes, etc)- versus showing the product, discussing it and telling the viewer the pros and cons from a person who has used the product. Ah well, c'est la vie.

Thanks so much, I will be happy when my husband gets my new birthday present deck finished(under construction since my birthday in May but then we had 2 older kids get married this summer.. june and august, so he hasn't had a lot of time or the money to finish it up yet... come on EXPO I need that money!!).
But yes, I feel lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country. A vacation mecca really and oh the Vacation Destinations I had planned...Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburgh Tenn, Pigeon Forge Tenn, Dollywood, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Greenville/Spartanburgh SC, Asheville NC just to mention a few all within a short drive for me.
Maybe I can still do some of them, we'll see how things come out, but again, I sooo appreciate your support and kind words.

Whoops! that is him being nice to me? haha i guess so, i just reread the post and it was not his typical rhetoric.. but he totally missed my question about what does national mean since he is the authority on it and all.

Chick-a-filet and Sonic are NOT available in michigan, never have been.. how on earth are their reviews for them? those aren't national in availablity... Michigan can't get them without traveling 200 miles.

I have received like 10 more views of my profile since I became "non-sugar coating" over there. Now if only I could say something to get them to view my vids, I would be right haha

I just don't know what to think....... I had 4 "REJECTED"S last week due to background noise (a bird in my backyard where I was doing my reviews)

I have watched some of your reviews and I absolutely love them. I think the birds lend a certain ambience to the whole scene. I have elaborated more in the other group, but please don't give up. There is money to be made. And btw, let us know when the deck is finished.

I'll be passing by your way in May '08 on our next WDW trip, maybe the deck will be finished in time for next year's b-day.

DH grew up in NC and his family still lives there. We go about once a year to visit. We went through Asheville this past year but didn't do anything, we didn't have time. Oh, we stayed at the worst Days Inn in history. Too bad I was embarassed to take pix, otherwise I would do a review and steer people away from it. DH points out Ghost Town every time we pass but I've never been, it sounds nice from what he's told me.

Tell him to wait a little bit til they get all the kinks worked out. I think it has been a rough year of reopening after being closed for so long. My son is a Paramedic in Waynesville and Maggie Valley and got called out a couple of weeks ago because one of the rides broke down and they has riders suspended in their seats (ski lift type ride) for several hours (during a bad bad rainstorm ) They were not very happy guests I am afraid but no injuries thank goodness. They will get it all worked out soon I'm sure!
Okay, party at my house May 08 and then WE ALL go back to WDW!!! We'll all have plenty of money from reviews by then, right?

That would be scary! Stuck in the air on a big metal ride during a storm...... hopefully it was just rain and no lightning.

DH grew up in Greensboro. His family has been there for so long, they have roads named after them.

Party sounds great, our trip is the week before Memorial Day. It's DD#2's 14th b-day that week and we are giving her a princess trip. The whole week will be one big party and we're looking at some special things for her to do. Now if I can just get Expo to approve my pending reviews and stop messing with the payment system, I'll have tons of $$ for all the wonderful things we'd like to do for her.

Well DH had 2 more rejections today for not nationally distributed, so I had to hunt down teh links and email them. I hope they fix it now becuase after all 20 bucks is 20 bucks. This is getting old. Im getting tired of emailing them every day for something or other. And at this point I probably wouldnt bother on some stuff but now if we reshoot stuff that is not good enough we only get paid 2 dollars so I have to argue everything. I have a migraine.

Oh and did anyone see the post over there, cant remember which one, where someone basically told you know who that we didnt need his comments on every post? bahahahhah that was good.

Well now my niece just told me expo rejected 20 of her vids for poor audio quality and she said the audio is the same as her others they accepted. now shes upset. pooh.

I uploaded about 7 new reviews last night and they all say "received" and Preview "not available." Everything else I have uploaded has gone pretty much right to "pending" status and I'm been able to preview the video. Has anyone else had this problem? I would email expo, but I've already tried emailing them twice in the last month or so with no response!
