10 more approved for me today, I'm up to 630.00 and DH is up to 627.00 still have a ton in for review for August and none rejected so far,here's hoping for something positive. I'm timandlesley on Expo too. This money is going to be SO great to get us to the WL in June!!!

Thanks for the support Jessica. I did go ahead and email Expo about it but as of yet I have not gotten responses to any of the emails I have sent them. I guess I just feel so foolish because I referred all these people and they are all sitting back waiting to see how much I make this month. So far it's not much. I really thought I had done a good job but I guess not.
Oh, well, tomorrow is my penny review day on the Yahoo Group at least no one will have to spend much time watching mine. I was only able to get through about 5 pages of Ally's but I enjoyed hers a lot. She really does a good job with them.
And at least I got a good laugh at tink and her SKREAMING!

Upset and no replies- please help administrator!

I am very upset. I did a ton of travel reviews this month and a lot of them were accepted, now all of a sudden I have 6 denied saying "photo's and/or original footage must be included" I include a TON of photos for each of our locations so it is very upsetting to see them rejected for this reason. I have emailed about this and have not gotten a single reply. I feel it is a waste of time but will do them over AGAIN with the photo's and hope they are accepted. Why won't anyone answer emails? Why are my reviews being rejected of travel destinations when I have indeed included 4+ photo's on each review, it is very frustrating. Also, video quality is great, I am talking very loudly, it is a good review in my oppinion. Help needed please!

Lesley, please tell me did you ever get any responses from Expo to these questions you posted? I most certainly understand your frustration when writing this and am just wondering if it did you more good to ask the question in the open forum as opposed to emailing them?

Oh, and I admire you for it, believe me. Until you had the guts to speak up and tell it like it is, it was almost like Stepford, with Skreamer trying to convince everyone they should be so very grateful to live in expo utopia. And no one was saying anything! You came along and blew the lid right off of it.

I just don't know what to think....... I had 4 "REJECTED"S last week due to background noise (a bird in my backyard where I was doing my reviews)

today --------68--------- "REJECTED"'S for "Not a Valid/Helpful Review" What does that mean? I had watched other reviews for products in the same categories to determine what was important to include and tried to go a little further by listing ingredients, directions for use as well as reasoning for my approval or disapproval of the product. I gave lots more information than other reviews from the same days that were approved. I just don't get it! They don't tell you what they want but then they REJECT you for unspecified reasons. I know it is silly to take it personally but I just can't help but do that.

That is simply terrible. I am so sorry. I would be upset too.

I would email and ask why, can't hurt. It just seems extreme to reject all of them.

NO, I swear I didn't, I wouldn't.......I DID read a post on Expo where someone hadn't gotten approvals in a long, long time and the response was that there had been 'a bug' but the reviews were immediately approved so I emailed to ask if my numerous waiting reviews could have possibly been detained by the same bug,....the next day 4 "REJECTED"'s due to 'background noise' , the next day I emailed to question if a bird in my backyard was really means for "REJECTED".
(I DID talk about it on here and then in the Groups and worried in the back of my mind that there could be infiltrators .. but surely not???)

Today I found ALL of my waiting reviews had been "REJECTED" (GOD, I HATE THAT WORD, that is what I take so personally) due to "Not Valid...."

so that's my sad, sad story, if I had only been intelligent and experienced and knowledgable and immune to all scrutiny like.......... no, no don't go there.....

Well, it is sad that people can't post freely on that forum without fear of retaliation. I mean, we have no proof, but you never know.

Allyson, good for you, I see you right on Skreamers heels on the forum.

DISboard posts can be found in google searches. My guess is expo DOES know about this forum. Heck, DISers have practically taken over expo in sheer numbers.

Awwww brivers, thanks for the support, I appreciate it sooo much...(that's not Blue Goose is it??? ) but at this point..., what is the point? Or is there a point? I don't know... Thats why I was asking Leslie what kind of a response she got to the public forum.

As "he who knows all" mentioned in one of his many and varied responses (to some poor soul), I am not relying on this for a living, (although it may have meant our first trip to the "Epcot Food and Wine Festival, darn it!!!!") I will get over it and move on and probably should never have counted on such easy money to begin with.......

Expo could tell me what was wrong with my reviews so I could do better with the next ones, if there are any next ones.
Anyway, I feel like I have made some friends here and thats better than money, right??? RIGHT?????? You know that's right!!!!!

We too counted on $500 for July for 100 reviews. We "only" made $385 due to the July rejections. That hurt. With heavy hearts, we redid most of them and were able to "fix" some of them with a video program, but it felt awful that we had the $500 potential, we were assuming we would earn that amount and poof, up in smoke. I had never heard of videos looking perfect on our end and uploading them to expo where they were out of sync. It was a shock. By the time we were rejected, it was too late to make up the difference money wise. But at least I knew why we were rejected.

Too bad you can't upload one of your rejected videos to one of the private forums so we could see what they were like. Like I said, there are so many useless reviews up there, most were done pre-August when everything was $5 and all were approved. There are reviews done with people whose accents are so thick or with voices so garbled, I cannot understand them. Go figure.
