I got my first payment from expo tv!!!!!!!! I just wanted to thank everyone here because with out this thread I would have never found expo. I am going to use my expo money for Christmas gifts this year! It's really going to help out, then after Christmas all my expo money will go in the Disney fund! Thanks again everyone!

I am also thrilled to have found Expotv from the people here on the disboards. I was able to pay for the hotel room for our trip next week. The $$$ was just transferred to my bank account today. It is nice to see it is real money!

Any future Expotv monies are going for our non-WDW Florida trip for Christmas to see family.

I also am so happy the DIS'ers introduced me to ExpoTV. I plan to use my money for Christmas right now. After that, I'm hoping to make enough each month to pay my DVC bill.

I finally got paid yesterday, too. We must have been the last ones for August. I ended up having two rejected for August...I challenged them both but only had one approved then.

I cannot find a link for the Wee Shades infant sunglasses from Target. Does anyone have any searching secrets I am not using??? I'm usually pretty good at it. Anyway, I know they are still available but I don't know how else to prove it.

Anyway, I made over $400 for August, which is pretty cool. I know it could have been much more but I'm just trying to do it in my downtime. I have not been trying as hard in September but I'm hoping to make a few over the weekend.

I have 38 approved from September already... with 9 pending since 9/3/07... now is when the crappy part kicks in. The last 4 reviews I have done last week were approved within HOURS of uploading. I want to make sure I get all 60 this month as I finally had a chance to do it. But it looks like they are holding off on decisioning some so I might endup giving them FREE REVIEWS or miss out on some as they reject them after Sept is over.

This is a catch 22, i mean if do more and they get approved quick do I just do enough to get to 60 approved (thus giving them the free reviews which are pending because if they accept them and I already have 60 approved they will be freebees) or should I do enough to have the pending + already approved = 60?

I am confused here.. Before without limits it wouldn't matter.

Wow! Most of mine were aprroved within MINUTES today - I hope this keeps up all weekend! The only two that were not approved today were not in their database. I guess they have to verify the websites that I gave them for Pop-Tarts and Hot Shot bug spray.

Just got my first approval today. It was from a video submitted in August. Now, I'm going to go ahead and do some more. I wanted to make sure my video was up to quality before I did a bunch and submitted them.

I'm in the same situation. I have a lot I uploaded last weekend - all from Saturday approved and all from Monday approved. However, Sunday ones are still sitting there. The ones uploaded Sunday were done a the same time as the other ones, as I recored all first, edited all, then uploaded in the order the computer saved them, which of course was alphabetically.

I'm confused too!

Were the videos they didn't approve yet ones that weren't in the database and you had to give links or travel reviews where they wouldnt be in the database??? Someone mentioned that idea in the yahoo group? I think she said she suspected the videos with no match in the database were being held back so Expo could confirm the links they make us give now.

I went back and checked my vids and two I found in the database got approved and the the three I didn't, are still sitting there.

One is a travel review, but the rest of them, about 12-15, are DVDs that were in their database.

Who is also doing Buy or Pass? I signed up and have a question, can you only review the products in their database? It seems VERY limited. I was poking around last night to see what I could do and couldn't figure out how to do a review unless it was something already in their db. Would love any advice!

The September ones I'm waiting on are all travel reviews. One was the Osborne lights, so I know they've approved that before for a member in this group. The others are Ft. Wilderness Campgrounds and Hoop Dee Doo Revue. I hope they don't wait forever then reject them after it's too late to make more.
