Another Voucher Success Story

We've been worried about getting our vouchers with the problems that some have run into during the process. We were registered for the national Project Linus activity about two weeks before GAD was closed. We completed our blankets and mailed them on Monday, April 12. (According to the e-mail we had until April 27, but we got done a bit early.) On Thursday, the post office confirmed delivery of our blankets. On Friday, our status changed on Disneyparks.com to say "Pending Verification" and had a message that our volunteer date had passed. (Since it wasn't the 27th yet, that was a bit scary, but we figured it was the first step to verification.) Yesterday, it still said pending verification, but when I checked this morning - SUCCESS! We were listed as verified.

We downloaded and printed our vouchers, and now we're ready to go skip the lines during our June trip.

Same exact experience for me. The only snag we ran into was the fact that priority mail took 9 days to mail our blankets from Kentucky to Illinois???? But I received my email yesterday and got our vouchers printed. Very relieved to have them in my hands.
