Upgrading using miles, is it just a case of booking the flights you want in the right fare class (qualifying full adult fare: W, S, Y, B, L) and then calling them up to say you'd like to upgrade?

Or do you need to call them and sort it all out at once?

i would call them and do it all over the phone as they might not have any miles seats left in the class you want

as we have found - upgrading with miles is difficult! They simply dont offer that many seats on each flight for the mileage upgrades, and once they're gone they dont offer any more. For some flights they dont offer any mileage upgrade seats at all if its a profitable route, they dont need to.

We've found the best way to spend miles is full reward tickets (we use to buy UC seats) or miles and money sometimes. Upgrading with mileage - especially on the Orlando route isnt that easy.

Good luck:thumbsup2

thanks!
We're actually looking to upgrade on a Las Vegas or LA route, as that's a longer flight and hence getting more out of it. I just hope it won't be too difficult to upgrade!
