Another Use year Question.

I purchased at BCV last month with a Feb use year and am already considering an add-on. My question is will they save a percentage of the Feb use year units for add ons or do they just sell until gone and move on to the next month?

I'm not exactly sure how they do it, but they do not sell a Use Year down to bare bones before moving on to the next. So, to answer your question, there should be availability in your Use Year for some time. As total sell-out approaches for the resort, then some Use Years do become sold-out.

Disney usually tries to sell the months so that they even out and tend to sell out near the same time. To accomplish that, Disney usually changes the use month it is selling as the calendar months change; for example it started at BCV selling a Feb use year. In March or at least by April it will be selling a March use year.

Yes Anna, I figured when we originally purchased our points we would spend the first night off site each trip, now my husband decided he doesn't want to move once we get to WDW. So we have to purchase an add-on to cover 2 weekend nights. Hey whats another $12,000 just money compared to the enjoyment we will get out of it. If it makes you feel any better I will wait a couple of weeks and see if NY gets approved first. I figure I will give the people at DVC a little time to catch up on the initial rush before putting in the order for my add-on. I just don't want to wait too long, I want that $5 off incentive. This add-on bug is really contagious when you hang out at these boads. Maybe it is like a computer virus.

Great Terry, I have been on a waiting list with DVC and the Timeshare Store for a small add-on at OKW. Never had happened. I went from wanting to add 25-50 to 100-140 - since it's not available here in NY yet, have not made final decision. Yes, you will enjoy them and I know what you mean about moving around because of the week-ends. That is one of the two things I am not too crazy about - the week-end points are a little outrageous. I would not mind moving if it were just 2 or three of us - but 5? It might be too much hassle. Will sit and wait for now.
