Hi. New here and I have been doing a lot of research lately (these boards are very helpful - thank you!) but I still have a question regarding Use Year. I've noticed most people say it really doesn't matter what month you get. But in plotting out how we'd use our points over the next several years it seems that some months require more banking and/or borrowing than others. We typically go to WDW for one 10 day trip per year in either August or November (alternating years beginning with Aug. '08). We're planning to buy 210 points at AKV and keep roughly the same vacation schedule. In comparing months, it seems like a December Use Year would require less 'shifting' so to speak. Of course, I'm not sure I'd even have December as a choice so it may be a moot point. But does it make sense that it would be easier to deal with an end of year month vs. a June or August that would necessitate more tracking and planning on my part? Maybe I'm just making a big deal out of nothing? Any suggestions? Sorry for the long winded first post!
