Another update from MsDisney23 (Kitty) *Wed/Feb 1*

I received this last night from Kitty....................

Please let everyone know just how much all of the Prayer's and kindness extended to me, Gary and Lauren during this time has meant to us. My family knows my love for The DIS and all of "The Great" Wonderful members that it has.

My mom was over yesterday and stayed and did so much. Gary did go to work and called home several times to see how I was. He was ok once he knew my Mom was here. I did enjoy some real good spag. and mballs. last night.

I am still feeling very very tired and weak, which is normal. The Dr's have said this is going to take some time. I am a fighter and a very compliant patient. I am in no pain whatsoever. I am eating well and getting the proper rest. Taking a lot of meds which make me feel just terrible, etc. but again no pain. I am so blown up it is not funny! LOL. I still have my positive outlook and great since of humor. You know my humor has gotten me through so much.

Tomorrow my Mom will come to take me for my lab work and then we head up on Thursday to see the Transplant Team. I am Praying for some good results. Update on my current organs.. My kidney function has came back to normal as well as my heart and the fluids, is much better. As you might know, it is the body's normal response for other organs to start to shut down to save one. that is what my body was doing. I am hoping not to have to be re-admitted for another mega round of treatment, but if I must go, I will go with a Smile.

Now I have to tell you , I have a little surprise on the way to me! I am expecting Lauren in about 1/2 hour. She and a friend from her college are driving home, she said she wants to see me. I can not wait. she will not be here long, but we will cherish it.

Again I continue to believe in the Power of Prayer and ask for everyone to keep me in theirs. Also if You could please let WDWmom2 (Sharon) know that she can have the hammer while I'm away from the boards. Just warn everyone, she will have all of the Boards hammered up!

Also Jamie sends her love, my beloved Beagle. bark bark.

Good to hear from Kitty again, sounds like some more progress. And still certainly still in need of prayers and good wishes and thoughts.
