Hooray! I made a new sig. :yay: Part of it I had to cut off but it's okay (I stuck the mice from Cinderella in front of Ryan Seacrest). :rotfl:

Morning ladies!!

Sorry I missed out yesterday. I was gone all the day from morning till last night.

Today, I'm sewing up some more aprons for my Sisters to give them, when we meet up for our annual trip with my Mom. We are going to DL and staying at the Grand baby!! Which will be perfect for my Mom. She will love just sitting in the lobby and people watching!

Hope all is well, and have a great day!

Alex is convinced he has swine flu. :rotfl2: He had a cough last night, and insisted we keep him home.

I let my DS know that he is absolutely not to play with any hogs that wander onto the playground at school. ;)

Busy, busy day. But then again I guess I am supposed to work for my paycheck.

Sounds like fun. :thumbsup2 Nothing better than people watching. So how is your sister doing? Hopefully well and making it thru everything ok.

Cute new siggie Pix.:thumbsup2 One of these days I'll maybe watch that show and see what everyone is raving about. or maybe not.:lmao:

We have been considering getting rid of our satellite tv. As much as we enjoy the programming, it kinda gets in the way of life. Thinking about just going back to good ol' rabbit ears...oh and converter boxes.:thumbsup2 Don't know, just something we are thinking about.

SO...I get a call yesterday from DH and he is cracking up and I can hear a high pitched machine whine in the background. We have a neighbor, kind of keeps to himself most of the time, but very nice man. His property is sort of overgrown. But the last month or so he's been out weed eating, etc. He collects train memorabillia and by that I mean pieces of real trains!!!! He actually works/runs an old historic steam engine train nearby. Anyway he has piles of old train wheels, you name it. Well over the years blackberries and brush have taken over all of his "treasures". Not to mention that he has lots of other crap.

Anyway, he and a friend decide to dismantle a boat that he recently uncovered. THEY USED A CHAIN SAW TO CUT THE BOAT INTO PIECES! Not a sawzall or a chop saw, but a chain saw. DH watched them for the entire day. They were wearing hard hats, goggles, orange protective gear and cut up a 20 foot fiberglass boat with a chain saw. DH was very tempted to go down and give them the proper tool for the job, but was just having too much fun watching them.:lmao:

Then even more funny, they decide to move a small log. Now honestly, DH says he could have picked the end up and moved it by himself...so what do they do??

tie a tow rope to a truck and pull it?
two strapping men pick it up and move it?

NOPE! They bring out a furniture moving dolly and use it to move the log!:lmao::lmao:

Our weather is supposed to be nice again today, so DH is eagerly awaiting installment #2!:lmao:

Good Morning!!! Sorry I haven't been on the last couple of days - we had the owner, vice president and supervisor at the store yesterday - so I have been stressing to make everything perfect. Good news is both DH and I had a great visit so no issues. It was actually very laid back - all three were in a great mood so it was fun having them in the store. At one point they actually discussed (jokingly) turning the store into a 70's theme, and in an effort to help sales, offer a joint free with every combo meal :hippie:. Of course then one realized that we should offer that first, and then let the customer order 15 minutes later :hippie:. It was funny to see 3 of the most important people in the company have this discussion on my front counter :rotfl2:

What the heck? Sounds like your neighbour has a lot of garbage in his yard. I would have enjoyed watching them too:rotfl2:

TGIF ladies!! I don't have anything exciting to tell you other than I have a pimple that looks like mouth herpes. I was using this new lip balm and kept putting on too much because my lips were so dry, so it would smear into the corner of my mouth onto my face. It didn't take long before I got a pimple there, so I started to pick it and it spread into four little itty bumps but the redness makes them look like I have some kind of nasty infection :rotfl2:

That is hilarious, I can so picture the log moving. Honestly I can picture women moving a log like that because well you know....but men no.:rotfl2: I can hardly wait to tell DH this one.

Thanks Dizzy! :)

Eek! Sorry to hear about your pimple and the infection. :flower3: That sucks :( If I get a pimple I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear Gel. It's a tiny tube and it is supposed to reduce the size of the pimple within 8 hrs or less. I also have a tube called S.O.S. Emergency Cream by the brand Elemis. It's a skin care line that is from England and they sell it in Nordstrom. I use it sometimes since it's good for sensitive skin. :)

I just came back from the dermatologist. I have a small spot on my right "chesticle" that has been itching and is dry/peeling. I put Eucerin lotion and it doesn't help much. The doctor said it is a small eczema! She said it's nothing to be worried about and she gave me some prescription cream to use (she said there is no need to get it from the pharmacy). She gave m a couple of tubes and said to come back in 2 weeks to check the progress. Hopefully it goes away.

My bf's birthday is today. He turned 30! He works late so when he came home around 12:30am, I surprised him with a cupcake with a lit birthday candle in the middle and sang happy birthday to him :) He said it was sweet and gave me a hug :) I gave him a birthday card and inside it had a bumper sticker that says: "I'm not old, my turn signal is supposed to stay on!" I also got him a Jamba Juice gift card because we're Jamba junkies! :teeth: (just like Shawna! ;) )

:thumbsup2love the Jamba card! Best gift ever! No 's when mentioning 30! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's really boring and slow at work today. I almost fell asleep at my desk a few minutes ago but luckily it was time for break. :faint: I got Starbucks this morning: grande strawberries n' creme (w/ no whip cream) and a turkey pesto sandwich. I also bought the newspaper so that I could get the weekly Fry's ad. :teeth:

Thanks Alison! :goodvibes

As you know I am quite paranoid about anything chesticle related. If the spot does not clear up within two weeks then you should probably have it checked out again.:thumbsup2

My DBF will be 33 in July. :scared1: I'll be 28 next month. :scared1::rotfl:

Wow, we're really close in age. I'm 29!:thumbsup2 I bet next year we will be the same age! Geez, when I was your age I was popping out my first baby!:lmao:
