Hello Hyenas,

My bf and I went to DL and my bf could not get into the park. Apprently the park hopper my dad gave me was not activated properly. I was really upset and frantically trying to find a manager. They directed me to guest services and said that they need to see the receipt for it. I didn't know what to do. My dad is in China on a business trip and won't be back for a few weeks. I called my mom and she said that it was purchased with other park hoppers. She will try to find the receipt and will ask my dad when he calls. I was sad at first and cancelled my PS at Blue Bayou.

We did however go to DTD and we ate lunch at Storyteller's. I had spaghetti with meat sauce and it was sooo good. I ate the whole thing. Then we shopped and I bought a book from the bookstore there and also got a Juicy Couture tote from Sephora. I was shocked that they were selling Juicy stuff.

Oh and the air quality is really bad. We left early because of the fires here and a lot of ODV's closed down and some shops will close early too. We didn't see the fire until late afternoon.

Hi Alex,

I'm currently in the car. We are half way home but we tried to leave right away. There were some ODV's open on DTD and they were all wearing masks. A lot of guests were coughing and some bought Jack Skellington bandanas to cover their mouth.

It's okay about the park hopper. I'm not sure if DL will close early. My mom will try to find the receipt for the park hoppers. They paid for them and we need to check all the extra ones they bought. I was embarassed because the CM looked at me as if I stole the card. Ugh

Hey Pix, I was wondering about air quality and if parts of the freeway being shut down had an effect on you. Fire season sucks!

Hi Bernice,

We didn't have problems getting to DL. On the way back we hit traffic but then it picked up and now we're moving along fine. The 5 wasn't closed for us (we are still on the 5 now). There were a ton of cars trying to merge to the 605 fwy and good thing we don't live that way.

omg... I just got in a fight with my 3yo for the potty. She won... just because I thought it might be mean to send her flying into the bathtub.. She is such a brat. She was peeing... and smiling at me. Are you going to pee in your panties??? Devil baby.

Got up early, went to my casting clinic, learned lots of good tips, drank coffee, ate donuts, enjoyed being in a group of about 40 guys and 2 women...for once no line at the ladies room. What a wonderful, nice group of guys.

Today was 60 degrees and sunny, drove home at noon with the top down. Yes you read that right I was driving home in NOVEMBER IN WASHINGTON IN A CONVERTIBLE! Since I spent 3 hours casting and standing on my feet I was looking forward to coming home and taking a nice long bubbly bath. Instead my neighbor lady came up and said...it's time to press apples. So 11 gallons of apple juice later I finally got a break. I might add that it takes a lot of apples to make 11 gallons of juice, although the apples were extremely juicy this year, they weren't particularly sweet due to no frost. Needless to say I am beyond tired.
